Late at night, Casey joined Raph and Ryliee in hunting down a group of Kraang-droids carrying plutonium. Unfortunately, Casey's a little less experienced in vigilante work than Raph would like him to be. They followed the Kraang as they attempted to escape, only to find the droids destroyed, the aliens unconscious, and the plutonium missing. "Well, that's just great." Ryliee said sarcastically.
They walked into the lair to find the others playing a game on the pinball machine.
"Great use of your time." Raph said. "How'd it go?" Leo asked walking towards Ryliee. "While somebody else is out there busting the Kranng's brains in!" Raph glares at them hopping over the turnstiles with Casey right on his tail. "And that somebody wasn't us," Casey clarifies, clearly not happy about this, "We got other vigilantes out there going after those alien blobs!" "The good news is the Kraang were stopped. The bad news is, it wasn't by us. And worse, they took the plutonium." Ryliee said still irritated about the situation. "Interesting. Maybe Shredder's going after the Kraang again." Donnie theorized. Raph shook his head, "I don't think these were Shredder's guys." "I know exactly who's behind this." Mikey said.
"You better not say squirrels with lasers again." Raph and Ryliee said at the same time.
Donnie looks at everyone asking, "So, what do we do? Hunt down whoever's hunting the Kraang?" "I think we better blanket the area. Keep an eye out." Leo orders. Ryliee nods her head as she speaks, "Agreed. Raph, you, me and Casey will stick to the alleyways. Donnie & Mikey, you take the rooftops. Leo, you'll cover the sewers. We'll meet back at the lair at midnight." Everyone nods and gets ready to leave Leo grabs Ryliee's hand and they walk away to talk, "You know I kinda like it when you take charge...." Leo says seductively. Ryliee smiles as she blushes. "Well...maybe I should I be in charge for a while and order you around." As she said she gave Leo a quick kiss and followed Raph and Casey, leaving a love struck Leo, "I'm so in love with that girl."
{Time skip}
Raph, Casey, and Ryliee were searching all the alleyways, Raph went one way while Casey and Ryliee went the other and were to meet up.
"It's so quiet-" Casey whispers, and Ryliee shoots him a look as she snarkily retorts, "That's cause we're trying to be sneaky... Or, I'm at least trying."
Casey scoff, "I'm trying to! I just- I don't like silence!" Rayiee laughs, and then they continue sneaking through the alleyways for a little bit.
The silence is starting to get to her, and she let out an annoyed groan before whispering to Casey, "I think music would help-"
"What do you have in mind, RyRy?" Casey says with a small laugh, she starts singing in a very exaggerated and faux country voice.
"When you hear the sound of thunder
Don't you get too scared "she grins, still singing in funny voice as Casey begins to laugh then joins in with the same horrible singing voice, "Just grab your thunder buddy
And say these magic words ~"they both continue, with a huge smirk on their faces.
" Fuck you thunder!

You can't get me thunder~"Casey sings at the same time Ryliee does.
"Cause you're just God's farts~She admits, still trying to sing to the tune of it. While they both laugh and continues to their search.
Raph meet up with them as they narrowed in the middle of the city, "You think you can keep up this time, Jones?" Casey who had a smile on his face now turned into a frown "What is your problem, Raph?" "Face it, Casey. Street thugs and rob-ninjas are one thing, but alien threats from other dimensions are a whole different ballgame." Raph argued. "I took on a giant space-worm singlehandedly." "Yeah, you were singlehandedly eaten by it." He retorted.
"Have you ever fought living intestines? I don't think so!" Casey yelled. "Bottom line, you're in over your head on this one, Casey." "Trust me, I might not have ninja training or psychic powers or have some magic powers, but I've achieved a level of awesome attainable only by Casey Jones." Ryliee shouted. "Guys, Kraang up ahead." Raph follows her line of sight to see a group of Kraang-droids loading up a van with more plutonium. Casey lunges forward to attack, but Raph pulls him back. "Hold on, Hothead. Ninjas use stealth. Ever heard of it?" Ryliee says as she sensed a familiar presence. Suddenly, Slash leaps to stand before them. Raph has a defensive look and steps forward with an arm in front of Ryliee who having an anxiety attack, but is keeping it hidden. Slash smiles, "Good to see you again, Raphael. You too, Ryles. Miss me?" Flashbacks of when Slash attacked Ryliee and blamed her for Raph opening up more to her, she placed a hand on Raph's shoulder and the other on her chest as she controls her breathing, Raph still protectively in front of Ryliee "What are you doing here, Slash?" "We're taking care of the Kraang. I got a new partner." He states. Then, they turned towards the Kraang to see Newtralizer attacking them. Casey and Ryliee looked confused and asked, "Who is that?" Raph answered not taking his eyes off of Slash. "An alien psycho called 'the Newtralizer'. What are you guys doing, Slash?" "What you and the Turtles couldn't. Wiping out the Kraang." Slash leaps forward to join Newtralizer while Raph and Ryliee devise a plan of attack. "Alright, I'll take Slash, Ryles got the Newtralizer, you hang back and get-"
Casey ignores the plan and rolls forward to attack. "Goon-gala!" Newtralizer shoves Casey into the path of a moving car, but Raph leaps forward to save him."Slash, we have what we came for." Raph leaps forward to charge at Slash, but Slash fends him off. "See you got a new partner, too, Raphael. Another human?" Slash shoves Raph backward onto his shell.
"You gonna betray him the way you betrayed me?" Raph gets up with a groan but smirks at Slash. "Still holding onto the past, huh, Spike?" Slash goes to hit Raph, but Ryliee holds him back with her powers. "I told ya, it's Slash now! And your new little pet isn't always going to be able to save you!" "She's not my pet, she's my best friend! There's a lot you have left to learn, Spike." Raph said mad as ever. Slash growls in anger and punches Raph into the wall before he and Newtralizer disappear via teleportation devices. Ryliee helps Raph back onto his feet while Casey glances at the Kraang wreckage. "I think we're in deep trouble." Raph says.
{Time skip)
Everyone recaps what happened with the others back at the lair, and Donnie tries to locate the location of Slash via their teleportation tech. Ryliee tosses Casey an icepack while Raph decides now is a good time to start another argument. "You shoulda never got involved, Casey. Slash & Newtralizer are way too powerful. And neither should you too, Ryles who knows what Spike would do this time." "What? No way! I'm involved in this too, I don't care if Spike still hates me. Friends don't abandon friends." She's said. Casey nods his head in agreement, "Yea and those two goons are nothing. They lucked out, won't happen again." Ryliee scoff, "No, you lucked out. Last time we ALL faced that guy, we were left with broken ribs... And I couldn't walk for two weeks straight." "Let's focus, people! We got two crazy mutants running around blowing up the streets." Leo says. "I think we should shadow the Kraang until they show up." Raph said. "Easy. Since Slash & the Newtralizer are using plutonium to power their teleportation, we can look for traces of residual radiation." "Great. Where do we start?" Ryliee said.
Time skip
"You think this is the place?" Leo asked. Right then, a Kraang-droid falls out of the window, but crawls back in as shots are fired. Mikey speaks, "Either that, or there's one bangin' party goin' on in there." "Come on, guys. Let's do it!" Casey shouts. "What, whoa, hold up! Who invited you on this stakeout anyway?" "Casey Jones invited himself." They leap in through the roof, Casey wobbly managing to stick the landing. "Whoa, it's the Newtralizer! I totally named that guy." Mikey said. "Actually, I named him." Donnie corrected him. "Hit him hard and fast." Leo said. "Except for you, Casey. You hold back." As they leap forward to take down Newtralizer, he knocks the turtles to the ground floor. And the was left face to face with Ryliee who had already activated her powers and was ready for a fight.
Newtralizer raised his laser gun and started shooting at Ryliee, she made a force field blocking all of the laser beams hitting her,
Then made him lower his weapon.
As it looked Ryliee had the upper, "Slash! I need some assistance!" The alien lizard yelled in shock as he was losing to a young girl. Then, Leo and the others attacked Slash before he could attack Ryliee, but again, he has the upper hand. "Eager for another beatdown, Donatello?" Slash sneered. Casey comes to Donnie's aid by hitting hockey pucks into Slash's face but gets grabbed by the arm and spun in midair. Slash releases Casey as Ryliee is forcing Newtralizer to his knees,
Ryliee sensed Slash teleporting repeatedly towards her before he could hit her with his Mace she stopped with one hand while the other still had Newtralizer to the ground in front of the others.
"Ah Yea! That's my mom right there!" Mikey shouted excitedly. Everyone watched as Ryliee held her own. Slash put more pressure on his weapon which made Ryliee use both hands and that lead to the Newtralizer to pull out his gun and shot a blast, Slash jumped out of the way while created a force field blocking herself from the blast but got blown towards the wall and was unconscious.
"RYLIEE!"
"RYLES!"
"MOM!"
Leo and the others shouted her name before Leo goes to helps her, Newtralizer deploys a bomb and teleports away with Slash. They all rush out of the building as it explodes into flames, Raph saving Casey from being crushed by rubble. Leo hears Ryliee groaning, and then he stands up while holding Ryliee who is waking up and he's cupping her cheeks as he checks her over for any other injuries. "You okay? Please... Please tell me you're okay," He worries over her, looking like he's genuinely going to tear up. "I'm fine... I'm fine," she whispers, although the way that she could barely talk without shaking gives away the fact that she's lying. Leo shakes his head, not believing her as he then looks at Raph and Casey, "You guys all right?" "Yeah, we're cool." Casey said. "Cool? You would've been flattened if it wasn't for me. And Ryles was almost blown to pieces!" Raph shouted at Casey. "I've done the same for you, Raph and Ryliee." "Oh, yeah? When was that?" "Like, dozens of times." "If you didn't slow us down, they would've never gotten away. And Ryles wouldn't have gotten hurt." Raph said. "Raph, enough." "Are you kidding me?" Ryliee and Casey said at the same time.
"Why? You think this is a joke?" Raph said not breaking eye contact with Casey. "You know what, Raph? Forget this! I'm outta here." Casey said as he shoves past Raph and walks away.
"Casey, wait! Hold on! Raph." Ryliee said as she looked at him. "What? If he's gonna act like a baby, I don't want his help." "Not cool, Raph. People have feelings." Mikey said. "Well, I'm not people." "Really? How did it feel for you when Spider Bytez ticked you off and Leo took you off the mission? Not good, right? That's how Casey feels when you call him out for not having the same skills as you. Everyone has different fighting styles, Raph. That's what makes us a good team. Accepting those differences, not pushing people away when things get tough. Believe me, if that worked, I wouldn't be standing here.."
Raph pauses in thought. Ryliee looks at Donnie, "Donnie, how's that spy roach working out?"
"Spy what?" Leo asked. "While I was wrestling with Slash, I slipped a spy roach on him. We'll be able to hear everything they say through my T-Phone!"
Newtralizer: "The Kraang orb revealed a new weapon. They're testing it on the docks at midnight. We can use it to wipe out the Kraang once and for all. We can destroy this whole, stinking city."
Slash: "And every innocent human with it. Are you crazy? I'm here to take out Kraang, not people!"
Newtralizer: "Why should I care? I'm not people. If it comes down to it, I won't take any chances, brother."
Leo: "Ok, this just got real."
Raph: "Let's end this!" "You guys go, I'm gonna catch up with Casey."
{Time skip}
"Casey, wait up!" Ryliee shouted as she finally caught up to Casey, "What do you want now Ryles? Are you here to lecture me on how I'm always in the way or for almost getting myself killed including you too? Cause if that's the case I don't want to hear it!" He said pissed even more. She shook her head, "I'm not here to lecture you, that's not my style. I'm here for you. Are you ok?" Casey let out a sigh and sat down on the edge of the building his legs dangling, "To be honest Ryles, It's just not fair! I know what I'm doin. Raph never takes me seriously. None of them do." Ryliee sat down next to him listening to. "I could understand where you're coming from." She said looking up at the stars. Casey looked at her in shock, "Really?" She nodded her head, "yup, when I first discovered my powers and went to Enigma with Cassandra and Fiona I had no idea what I was doing. When Samantha, Celeste, Belladonna, Estella and me were paired together me and Stella were the same with the magical powers, but mine are Chaos and hers was just your ordinary powers like Aprils, and she was amazing cause she had started her training early, same as the others they trained together knew each others weaknesses and their strengths. Me haha.. let's just say I struggled with it and felt like I was in the way, I didn't belong there, but what the girls said to is what I'm going to say to you... 'Believe in yourself and all that you are. Know that there is something inside you that is greater than any obstacle...' And I lived by that saying everyday, I trained, practiced and I got to know them better which is when Cassandra asked for a team leader, it was Estella that nominated me and that lead the others to agree and well... here we are now." Casey sat there eyes and mouth wide open not knowing what to say, "Wow...I...don't know what to...say Ryles...ever since we met and I found out about your powers I always thought you were so naturally good. But you weren't." Casey sat in thought...for a few minutes, "I can keep ranting... Right?" She laughed and smiled, "Sure. I've got nothing better to do."
15 minutes later
"It's just that I really care about him. He's my best friend, besides you of course. And I trust him and know that I can count on him.....but it feels like it isn't the same for him. Ya know? I just want him to trust me and I was trying to prove myself tonight...but I only made a fool out of mysef. I want him to know that I got his back too...but I dunno how to show him. Ryles...Do you have any other advice? I know you said you trained and all, but how did you prove yourself?" She looked at him with a small smile, "It's not about proving the naysayers wrong; it's about proving to yourself that you are unstoppable, unbreakable, and destined for greatness." "Thanks Ry. I owe you one." "No problem." Ryliee stood up and held out her hand to Casey, "Come on. We're going." He looked at her and grabbed her hand asking, "Going where?" She only smirked. "I know where everyone else is. Let's show 'em who CASEY JONES IS!" she shouted and Casey laughed at her. "You maybe all powerful but you sure are a loud mouth..." "takes one to know one." She retorted. As they ran to find the others Casey spoke up, "You know something Ryles, you're not my best friend...you're my sister, until the end of times. Even after that." He said holding out his hand. Ryliee looked at him and tears rolled down her face, "You're my brother, until the end of time. Even after that." After that she grabbed his hand and they made their secret handshake.
Time skip
Casey and Ryliee had finally made it to where everyone was fighting.
"Ready to make a grand entrance?" Casey grins, and she grins back her eyes turning purple.
He sighs, "Alright RyRy, I'm gonna go in first, create a distraction and you come in and do what you do best." "And that is?" She asks as she raised a brow. He grins, "Chaso..." Ryliee smirks and nods her head and slowly walks into the shadows with nothing but glowing purple eyes.
Casey shudders, "that's still so creepy." He mutters and turns towards the fight, he then watches as Newtralizer, who is currently piloting a huge Kranng rip-off AT-AT, shooting lasers at the turtles as he towers above them and cackles.
Casey smirks, watching as the turtles get cornered, "Ready for our awesome, life-saving entrance?" Ryliee snorts, "Sure, Jones." In his mind.
He whips out a hockey puck, that has an explosive duck-taped to it. He then pulls out a match, lighting the explosive before he tosses the puck in the air and whacks it, screaming, "GOONGALA!"
It hits the Kranng AT-AT, and it momentarily stumbles backward as Newtralizer waves his hands.
"Casey? You're back?" Raph grins, looking up at him with a surprised yet pleased face.
Casey nods, "I figured I'd wait for you all to be in trouble, and then I'd make an awesome heroic entrance. Pretty cool, right?"
The turtles all shake their heads, and then Casey adds on, "Oh- And I brought RyRy too." Ryliee lands as a Kranng was about to shoot the guys and blasts him away,
and Leo smiles softly at her and she's smiles back. They all then run forward, attacking the giant metal beast. Ryliee catches his eye as she flies up the leg of the robot, but gets knocked down, but Slash catches her as she fell.
He sets her on the ground not making eye contact, "I- I'm... Sorry....for...everything I said and did to you."
She stares at him reading his mind to be sure he was telling the truth and with the answer she got offered him a weak smile, "It's... Well- It's Not Okay... But uh- I guess we can move on from it." They both nod awkwardly and then she flies away from him and toward Leo. She noticed Mikey trying to use his Kusarigama chains to trip the metal beast, but it doesn't work, and we all have to jump away to avoid a laser blast that Newtralizer fires as defense.
They were currently being cornered, and Ryliee felt Leo grab her hand as they're backed into a shopping crate.
He squeezes her hand tightly, and she squeezed back before letting go and running in front of them. "Ryliee! No what are you doing!" Leo shouts as she lifts up her hands as purple mist comes out and is pushing the beast up back to give them some more time.
And then, just as everyone think he's gonna shoot a laser and kill them, "CASEY NOW!" Ryliee screams as she lets go Casey shoots a puck into the robot, and the machine fucking explodes.
But the thing isn't completely exploded, so we get to watch as Newtralizer struggles, frantically trying to teleport away. His tail is stuck in the machine... and his little device looks like it has a throwing star in it.
He finally does manage to teleport away. The others just seem happy that he's gone though, and Casey lets out a loud, "YEAAAAAH!"
Then the thing actually explodes.
Like a giant pink, purple, white, metal firework. Ryliee created a force field so one got hurt from the explosion, some either closed their eyes or covered their ears as the explosion is way too bright to look at and way too loud to listen to.
They all start celebrating, and Mikey and Donnie do a series of flips, Leo joining in as he gives Mikey a high five. Casey then comes over and starts skating beside Mikey and Donnie.
Raph is over there talking to Slash... Which leaves Leo and Ryliee alone.
He immediately pulls her into a hug as soon as it's just them,
"You scared the shit out of me today...You should have stayed back in the lair..."
"And miss that awesome fight?" She grins, "Yeah right."
Leo sighs, and he gives her a serious look, "I'm serious, Ryliee... I worry about you sometimes..."
She frown, "Yeah?"
"Yeah..."
It's silent for a second, and then Leo pulls her in for a kiss, "You need to stop getting yourself in trouble... Please, Ryliee Baby..." she kissed him once more, and then she cupped his cheeks in her hands, "Okay. Okay. I'm sorry."
He sighs, "You better be..." He presses a gentle kiss to her forehead, and then they follow after the others, hand in hand.
