By the time you finally wrapped up your work and packed your things, it was almost 10 PM. The office was quiet, with only a few late-night workers still glued to their screens. You stretched your stiff limbs and grabbed your bag, feeling the exhaustion settle deep in your bones.

As you stepped outside, the cool night air hit your skin, offering a brief moment of relief. You were about to text the group chat that you were heading home when your phone buzzed with an incoming call.

Yoongi.

You answered immediately. "Yoongi?"

"Where are you?" His voice was calm, but you could hear the underlying concern.

"Just got off work. Heading home now."

"Stay where you are."

"Huh?"

"I’m already outside your office."

Your heart skipped a beat. You turned your head, scanning the dimly lit street, and sure enough—there he was.

Dressed in his usual all-black ensemble, leaning casually against his car with his hands in his pockets. His sharp eyes met yours, and he tilted his head slightly, as if silently saying, What did I tell you about overworking?

You felt a rush of warmth in your chest as you made your way toward him.

"How long have you been waiting?" you asked, voice laced with guilt.

"Long enough." He opened the passenger door for you. "Get in."

You didn’t argue. You slid into the seat, feeling instantly at ease in his presence. The car smelled faintly of mint and coffee, a scent you had grown familiar with.

As he started the engine, you exhaled and let your head fall back against the seat.

"You didn’t have to come all the way here, Yoongi."

"I know." He glanced at you briefly. "But I wanted to."

Silence filled the space between you, but it was the kind that felt comforting rather than awkward.

"Jimin told me you were staying late," he continued, eyes focused on the road. "You shouldn’t push yourself too hard."

"I wasn’t pushing myself—"

"You were." He shot you a knowing look. "Don’t argue."

You pouted slightly, making him chuckle under his breath.

"They’re all waiting for you, you know," he said after a beat. "Jin even made your favorite late-night snack."

Your lips curled up at the thought. Home. That word had never felt more meaningful than it did now.

"Did they send you to pick me up?"

"No," he admitted. "I just… wanted to."

Something about the way he said that made your stomach flip.

You reached out and rested a hand on his knee, squeezing lightly. "Thank you, Yoongi."

He didn’t reply, but the way his fingers drummed lightly against the steering wheel told you everything you needed to know.

---

After finally getting home, you went straight to your room to freshen up. The exhaustion from work clung to you, but at the same time, there was a strange sense of warmth in your chest—everyone was home tonight.

It was something that had become rare over time, but lately, it felt like an unspoken promise had been made: to prioritize yourselves and this relationship before anything else.

After slipping into something comfortable, you made your way back downstairs, where the others were already sprawled across the couch and floor, watching some random movie that no one seemed truly invested in. You sank into the space between Namjoon and Hoseok, letting out a quiet sigh as you let yourself finally relax.

"Finally!" Jungkook groaned, sprawled across the couch. "We thought you died in that office."

"You took forever!" Taehyung added dramatically, mouth stuffed with snacks.

Jimin, who was curled up beside Jin on the couch, simply smiled. "Welcome home, sweetheart."

"Took you long enough," Jin teased, waving a spoon. "Eat this before I give your portion to Namjoon."

You couldn’t help but laugh, warmth spreading through your chest as you looked at the people who made every exhausting day worth it.

---

The room was dim, the only light coming from the TV, casting soft glows across the faces of the people you loved. There was something so domestic about it, so comforting, that you found yourself drifting off in your thoughts—thinking about how much had changed, how much you had changed.

It felt like just yesterday you were struggling to keep up with everything—your work, your studies, this relationship. There were moments where you had felt so detached, like you were just a spectator in your own life. But now…

You glanced around the room. Taehyung was leaning against Jungkook, his head resting on the younger’s shoulder. Hoseok was curled up with Yoongi, half-asleep. Jin sat at one end of the couch, and Jimin—

Jimin was on Jin’s lap, hands lazily roaming over his chest.

It took you a second to realize what was happening.

The soft press of lips, the way Jimin’s fingers curled into Jin’s hair as he tilted his head, deepening the kiss. It wasn’t rushed or desperate—just slow, languid, and intoxicating.

Your breath hitched, and before you could stop yourself, you were staring.

You weren’t sure how long you had been watching, completely entranced, but the spell was broken when you felt Namjoon shift beside you.

His low chuckle sent a shiver down your spine before he leaned in, lips brushing the shell of your ear.

"Enjoying the show in front of you?" he murmured, amusement dripping from his tone.

Your face burned, embarrassment creeping in as you turned to look at him.

"I wasn’t—"

"You were," he cut you off smoothly, eyes gleaming with mischief.

Before you could even deny it, Jimin let out a soft whimper, his shirt already halfway unbuttoned.

You swallowed hard.

Namjoon watched you with something dangerous in his expression, fingers lazily tracing over your wrist.

"Do you want to join them?" he asked, teasing—but his voice held something darker, something that made your thighs press together.

Across the room, Jungkook turned his head toward them with mild curiosity, tilting his head.

"Should we give them privacy, or…?"

Taehyung smirked, clearly entertained. "I think they like the attention."

The tension in the room was undeniable, and when Namjoon’s fingers brushed against your inner thigh—just a ghost of a touch—you realized you had a choice to make.

Without hesitation, you grabbed Namjoon’s left hand, bringing it to your mouth, nibbling softly on his fingers as a silent plea for him to continue. His breath hitched, his eyes darkening as he immediately closed the space between you, capturing your lips in a heated kiss.

He was rough, desperate—like he had been holding back for too long. The way his hands gripped your waist, fingers digging into your skin, made it clear that he missed this just as much as you did.

It had been weeks.

Too long.

You melted into him, letting him take control, savoring the way he devoured you like he was making up for lost time.

Your body arched into his, heat pooling deep in your stomach, your fingers tangling in his hair. You were ready to let this go further, to let him pull you into his lap and wreck you completely—

Until he stopped.

Just like that.

You blinked, breathless, dazed, watching as he pulled back with a smug smirk, licking his lips.

“Not tonight,” he murmured, pressing a lingering kiss to your jaw. “I’m tired.”

You gaped at him.

“Tired?” you echoed, disbelief laced in your tone.

“Mm,” Namjoon hummed, stretching like he wasn’t leaving you high and dry. “You’ll survive.”

You clenched your fists, frustration burning under your skin. First Jin, now Namjoon? Why were they like this?

Across the room, Yoongi chuckled. “Looks like someone’s not getting what they want.”

You shot him a glare. “Shut up.”

But Yoongi only smirked, patting his lap. “Come here then. If Namjoon’s gonna be an ass, I’ll take care of you.”

Namjoon scoffed, clearly unbothered. “I never said I wouldn’t take care of her. Just… later.”

Before you could even process Yoongi’s offer, a warm hand wrapped around your wrist.

Jimin.

His lips were kiss-bruised, his pupils blown, and when he looked at you, it was with a hunger that sent a shiver down your spine.

“Why don’t we help her out then?” he murmured, voice sweet, but laced with mischief. “Since our Joonie seems to be slacking.”

Namjoon let out a low chuckle, tapping his fingers against his thigh as if considering it. Yoongi leaned back, watching the scene unfold with a lazy smirk.

Your heartbeat pounded in your ears.

Yeah.

Tonight was going to be very, very interesting.
