You dash in, bursting through the doors, sending a sweep of air that used to be in the hall, into the library. You huff and puff as you glace around the library, only to meet the hardened glare of the librarian. Your sudden entrance earns you a stern look from said librarian and a head-shake of disapproval. You mouth the words, "I'm sorry." and briskly walk to the section of poetry. You stand before the towering bookshelves and begin grazing your delicate hands overs the spines of the well-organized books. Your eyes jump from title to title as you pull out every one that peeks your attention. Once you reach the capacity of books you are able to carry at once, you lug them all to the nearest empty table you can find and quietly drop them down. You plop yourself down in the seat before the stake and begin opening and skimming though the books one by one.

"Nope. Boring. Won't work. Can't use it." Were just a few of the phrases you whispered to yourself as you flipped from one poem to the next.

As you close the final book of you stack, still without a good poem for your project you sigh in frustration. You gather all of your books and stuff them back in the places you found them and proceed to graze your fingertips over the book spines. After moments of blurred titles, you finally find a large hardbound book that looks extremely promising. You pull it out quickly from its space, when your eyes fall onto the glaring face in front of you.

"Hey." The face says to you through the gap where the book you just pull out used to be.

"Ah!" You scream, nearly dropping the book and fumbling clumsily, catching it right before it hits the ground.

"Shh!" Hisses the librarian from earlier, earning you another glare and disapproving face.

You mouth your apologies again and she walks off. You whip your head back to the gap, but notice it was now abandoned.

"Looking for someone?" You hear a husky voice breath into your ear. You jump and nearly scream again, but a hand quickly covers your mouth. He spins you around to face him, "Shh... This is a library." You smack him in the shoulder with your book.

"What are you doing here, Killua?" You hiss.

"You weren't answering my texts, so I had to go look for you." He replies, sounding annoyed.

" Well I'm sorry if I've been slightly preoccupied with my English project. Which, unlike you, I'd like to try and get done."

"English project? Isn't that due next week?"

"It's due Wednesday." You say dryly as you turn to walk back to your seat. Killua pulls out your chair for you and you politely nod and sit down. You place your book down and begin to flip through pages.

"It's Monday." He says, hand on the table leaning over you.

"Yes, and it's a project that will take more than a couple days to finish, and we have less than that. So, I suggest you start working on yours too."

"It won't take you more than a night to finish."

"Killua, why are you even here at the library if you aren't going to work?"

"I told you, I came to get you because you weren't answering my texts. We had a date today remember?"

You stand up with your book and walk back over to the shelf to put it back. Even that large book didn't have a single useful poem. "I already told you that I couldn't do today because of this project."

"You can finish your project later." Killua says, following you to through the book shelves. You turn around and rest your hand on Killua's arm.

"I'm sorry." You lean up to plant a kiss on his lips, "But, I have to get this done." You turn back to the books and pull a few out.

"Ugh..." He responds, as he lazily follows you through the shelves.

You spin around to face him, shift all of the book to balance on one of your hands, "Tell you what. As soon as I step out of this library, I'm all yours. But, as long as I'm here, my number one priority is to get as much of my project I can, done." Killua sends you a sly grin.

"Is that a promise?" He asks, his unwavering grin making you hesitate.

"Yes..." Killua's grin widens into one of his rare, beams and he takes your pile of books from you to hold. The two of you walk over to the table and you continue to skim through the books as he watches.

"Anything?" He would ask after every page you flip.

"Nothing." You say, your annoyance increasing by the page.

"Maybe you should just forget about it and look tomorrow."

"You know I can't do that." You say, standing up again to put away that books.

"Yes you can, but you choose not to." He says.

"Exactly." You counter, as you pull out a thin book. Killua quickly snatches the book from your hand. You try to grab it back but he hold it high above his head, out of your reach.

"Killua, don't do this. Not now." You hiss.

"Come on. You and I both know you can finish this project in a night. I'm only asking for a couple hours with you."

"And I'm only asking for a couple hours to research." You say, jumping for the book. Killua simply extends the book further from your reach. You huff, "Why are you so desperate to go out today anyways?"

"Because we were supposed to go on a date today."

"We can always push the date back a couple days. What's the big deal?" You say, jumping for the book again, but Killua easily catches your hand and pulls you close so that you are face to face.

"I'll never miss a moment I can spend alone with you." He says, staring right into your eyes, making you blush a million different shades of red.

He quickly rushes out of the poetry section. You book still in hand. You quickly compose yourself and start chasing after him. You chase him through the shelves, silently hissing at him to stop and how you'd get in so much trouble. You chase him into the open area. He freezes directly across from you, only your table separating you both. You shift to one side and he reflects your movement, but the other way. You dash around to his side, but he copies, keeping a safe distance away from you.

"Killua, I swear." You say, staring daggers at him.

"Shh. This is a library." He teases, making you angrily charge at him. He tries to dash away, but you quickly grab his wrist before he can get to far. You rip the book out of his hand and smile triumphantly.

"Yes!" You cheer, sending Killua a wide smile. You look up to see his eyes staring at something behind you, showing a hint of fear. You cautiously turn around, knowing exactly what to expect. You turn to see a furious librarian. She looks right about ready to bite your head off and you had no doubt in your mind that that was your third and final strike.

"U-Uh..." You stutter, "I-I'd like to sign this out." You timidly hand her the book in your hand and she angrily snatches it away. She signs is out than pushes it aggressively back into your hands.

"There, now get out of my library and don't come back until you learn the basic rules of silence." The librarian hisses, pushing you out of the library.

You stand outside of the library, beyond embarrassed, grasping the book against your chest. Killua soon walks out, holding your things, wearing a side smirk on his face as he approaches you. "Here." He says, handing you your stuff, which you politely take.

"You're unbelieveable." You say.

"Ya, I'm pretty great." He says with a smirk, grabbing your wrist, "Now let's go."

" Go where?" You ask.

"You said that as soon as you step out to the library, you're all mine. Well you're out of the library, now you're all mine."

You stare at him in shock, not sure what to say.

"So let's get on with our date." He says, dragging you through the hall.

"I can't believe you." You say, trying to sound angry, but not being able to suppress your bright smile.
