Jealous

"Why doesn't she just tell him?" Minho whined.
"No way, A boy should make the first move!" Teresa stated.
"That's klunk." Minho rolled his eyes getting irritated.
"Guys just stop please. I am NOT gonna tell Newt how I feel about him. End of conversation." That was enough for them to shut up.
I finished my meal and walked away from the table Minho, Teresa and I were currently sitting on.
All week long they have been trying to find ways to get Newt to like me, but let's be honest. Why would Newt, the second in command, like someone like me. It's hopeless.
Anyway I need Some time alone and my job as a gardener was a great way to get my mind off of things.
"Hey Sam!" Minho called, disturbing my moment of peace.
"What?" I snapped maybe a little too harsch.
"Teresa and I have the perfect idea!" he lowered his voice and went on. "We have to make Newt jealous so he will make a move on you." I looked at him and almost laughed.
"Like that's gonna work, and how would we make him jealous then?" I asked.
"Like this" minho replied taking a step forward. He rested his hands on my waist and his face was closer than it should be, I think awkward is the right term to describe this situation.
"M-minho What are-" "Shhh it's working." Minho whispered. "Newt looks pretty pissed." He added pointing his head towards the british boy working a few meters away from us.
I moved my gaze from Minho to Newt and saw that he indeed looked pretty pissed, But that could be because of anything right.
I focused back on Minho. He looked at me with that stupid smirk plastered on his face, I rolled my eyes.
Then Minho leaned in and kissed my cheek which totally took me by suprise. "See ya later!" He sang and sprinted away.
I stood there shocked for a second but then turned to Newt, only to see him looking away very fastly. I shrugged it off and went to find Teresa.
I found her sitting next to Thomas somewhere. "You mind if I steal Teresa for a second?" I asked Thomas. "Only if you promise to give her back." He joked.
Teresa giggled and pecked his lips. She stood up and started walking with me.
I have to be honest, They are the cutest couple i've ever seen. Well actually the only couple I've ever seen since my memory is wiped away and Teresa and I are the only girls here.
"Your ideas are getting worse and worse." I began. She started laughing.
"Don't be grumpy, we could give it a try plus it was hilarious seeing your face when Minho got closer." She smirked.
My eyes grew wide. "You saw that?!" "Yeah I was hidden in the bushes, someone had to make sure Newt was looking." She replied. "Well did he?" I asked curious.
"Yeah all the time, it's so obvious Samantha I can't believe how you can't see it." She said now more serious. I sighed. She placed a hand on my shoulder.
"Hey Minho and I are on it." She grinned. I smiled and gave her a hug. "Thanks Teresa." "It's the least I can do, after all it's you who got Thomas and I together." She smiled hugging me back.
Minho's pov
I walked past the deadheads and my eyes fell on a little field of flowers. Immediately an idea popped into my head. I collected the prettiest flowers and went to find Newt.
After asking Chuck where he was I found him in the map room. "Hey Newt!" I greeted.
"Minho" he replied a bit grumpy. "You know where Samantha is? I want to give her these flowers." I asked holding myself from smirking.
Newt turned to me. "N-no." He replied obviously annoyed.
"You think she will like them?" I asked getting on his nerves.
"I don't bloody know, go ask her yourself!" He kinda growled.
I decided to push just a little bit further. "Maybe I can get a kiss in return for these." I added with the goofiest smile possible.
He rolled his eyes. "Just get out, I'm trying to work here." He muttered turning his back to me.
"See ya Newt." I waved and went looking for Samantha.
I spotted her sitting against a tree. "Hi Sam!" I smiled and plopped down beside her. She looked up.
"Hey if you're here to hug me in front of Newt, no thank you." She said.
"Please It can't be that bad having an person as hot as me being so close to you." I replied wiggling my eyebrows.
She rolled her eyes. We talked for a while until Newt exited the map room.
"Look Newt is heading to the Homestead, just act like you're really suprised." I said taking Samantha's hand and dragging her to where Newt had a clear sight of us.
I let go of her hand and gave the bouquet of flowers. Samantha took them and smiled at me. I smiled back and swung my arm around her shoulder.
Newt passed us but didn't even bother to say hi. When he was far enough away. I started laughing.
"He is soooo jealous!" I grinned. I recognized the look on Sam's face. "Oh please you're so blind." I almost yelled. "It's soo sooo obvious!"
Samantha laughed unsure."then why does he never make a move, he had plenty of chances." She said softly.
"Well maybe because he thinks you're too good for him? He is crazy if he doesn't like you back, you're awesome." I tried to cheer her up.
She gave me a half smile. "I'm gonna go for a walk, see you around Minho." She said and walked away. I shrugged and went looking for Teresa, to tell her about the progress.
Samantha's pov
I thought going for a walk would clear my mind, but after walking for half an hour Newt is still the only person I can think about.
I sat down against one of the four massive walls and closed my eyes resting the back of my head against the stone. The only thing I could hear were faded voices coming from the glade. I swear I almost fell asleep but ofcourse someone had to disturb me.
"Samantha?" The person called. I would recognize that voice anywhere, Newt.
I quickly stood up and fixed my hair. "hey Sam, do you got time to talk?" He asked shyly.
"Yeah sure, what's up?" I smiled. What's up? Seriously? Do I really got nothing better to say.
"I know it is non of my business, but I was wondering if the rumours are true." He scratched his neck.
"That depends, what rumour did you hear?"
"Something about you and Minho dating." He muttered looking to his shoes.
I broke out laughing. Newt gave me a puzzled look. Was this seriously happening? Did Minho and Teresa's idea really work?
"Hell no Minho and I are just friends, Definitely nothing more." I said clearing the air.
"Oh that's good, I mean not that you're not a couple unless you want to be with him ofcourse, do you?" I had a hard time to figure out exactly where he was saying.
"No I do not like him, plus I already like someone else." I regretted it the moment I said it.
"Who?"
Ohgod what did I get myself into.
"I can't tell you." I looked away, avoiding eye contact hoping he'd leave the subject.
"If you do I'll tell you who I like." He suggested.
Wait Newt likes someone? Maybe he does like me after all, but there is still a 50/50 chance it's Teresa though.
"I uh I really like you." He blurted out.
"You're not making a joke right?" This was too good to be true.
"I'm bloody serious Samantha, you know you can be so blind sometimes. I have liked you since the day I pulled you out of the box."
A huge grin spread on my face. "I like you too." I smiled to him.
"Really?" His eyes grew wide.
"Yes silly." I messed up his hair.
He pulled me a little bit closer. "So that means I can call you mine now?" He questioned.
"I like the sound of that." Nobody could ever remove the massive grin on my face.
"Good." He said before smashing his lips into mine.
