You were just sitting on your couch, being lazy while watching Captain America: Civil War when you hear a buzz on your phone. You groaned as you got up because your phone was across the room charging. You turned your phone on and saw that your best friend, (Y/BF/N) texted you.
(Y/BF/N): CALL ME NOW!!!
(Y/N): Ugh, fiine.
So you followed her orders and called her. Immediately you were deaf because she screamed so loud. "Well you sound excited" you said chuckling a little. "THAT'S BECAUSE I AM!" (Y/BF/N) said. You were slightly curious as to why. "Why? What's going on?" "WEEEELLLL-" I cut her of because she was way too loud, and I helped her calm down a little bit. "Okay, I'm calm now" she said. "Good." "Anyways, I was in my car and I as listening to the radio and before they played the next song, they said to call the number to get 2 free concert tickets to a Twenty One Pilots concert!" she started. You suddenly got super excited, but you held it in until she finished. "So I called aaaannnndddd..." "BISH TELL ME NOW! THE ANTICIPATION IS EATING ME ALIVE!" You both started laughing uncontrollably. When you both finally got yourselves together, she continued. "(Y/N)" "WhAt?" "I WON!! I GOT THE TICKETS!!" You both started screaming at the top of your lungs in excitement. Twenty One Pilots was your favorite band of all time for a couple of reasons. 1. THEY ARE SO FRICKIN' HOT! 2. They had helped you through so much when you were getting bullied or anything bad happened in your life. 3. Also their music is super catchy 😂 "SO WHEN IS THE CONCERT?!?!" you yelled at her. "IT'S IN A MONTH" "OML I'M SO EXCITED! YOU KILLED MEEE. I'M DEAD. I'M ALIVE, BUT I'M DEAD!" you said and (Y/BF/N) started giggling.
(Time Skip)
Today was the day of the concert! You were so excited that you almost couldn't function. You found your excitement rather funny because you kept looking in the mirror and dancing around. You then hear your phone buzz.
(Y/BF/N): HEYYY GUUUURRLLL! TODAY IS THE DAAAYYYY!!!
(Y/N): GURRRLL I KNOOOWWW!!!!!
(Y/BF/N): Be ready by 2 because I'm picking you up to drive there
(Y/N): Alrightyyy, gtg get readyy. Bye boo!
(Y/BF/N): Byyyeyeee!!
You looked at the time. (12:45) "Shit" you muttered to yourself. You still needed to shower, do your hair and makeup (if you don't wear makeup, that's fine) and get dressed. So you tried to take the quickest shower possible and get dressed into a Twenty One Pilots crop top, black high waist ripped jeans, a red beanie, with some red combat boots. (Y/BF/N) was going to wear the same outfit as you.
Soon enough, (Y/BF/N) shows up in your driveway and beeps like a maniac, clearly impatient to leave. You quickly grabbed a few necessities and raced out your door. "GURL YOU LOOK GREAT! I LOOOVE YOUR OUTFIT! Where'd you get it?!" (Y/BF/N) joked and you both laughed. It wasn't a far drive, maybe a 25-30 minute drive. You tried not to talk or sing much to save your voice, because you knew that as soon as you stepped foot in the arena, you both would start screaming.
When you finally got there, you both ran to the line and to both your surprise, the line wasn't that long. You were in a spot where you'd probably be in the 3rd, maybe 4th row. The tickets were floor tickets so you were extra excited. When you two got into the arena you bolted and pushed through everyone. Somehow you made it to front row. Now you were dying. BUT you died even more when you heard the beginning to Heavydirtysoul. At this point, you and (Y/BF/N) were screaming and balling your eyes out. In the middle of Ode To Sleep, you kept staring at Josh, because how could you not?! He looked in your direction and you swore that he was looking directly at you. Then he winked! You started smiling like an idiot. Even though he probably wasn't winking at you, you got really excited. This kept happening, he would keep glancing in your direction. Right before (or after, I'm not sure) Ride, Tyler said that he was going to call a fan up to do the Stressed Out handshake. So you and (Y/BF/N) started practicing and then decided you were ready. Tyler and Josh discussed who they were going to pick, and as they were talking, Josh glanced over at you. Tyler followed his gaze and his eyes met with yours. Next thing you know, Tyler had called you on stage to do the handshake with Josh.
Tears of joy met your eyes as a security guard helped you over the barricade. As soon as you climbed on stage, Tyler said "hey, what's your name?" "(Y/N)" you replied. Tyler then spoke into the microphone and said "Hey, so here we have (Y/N) and she's going to do the handshake with Josh. The whole arena erupted in a fit of screams as you and Josh stretched out your arms, preparing for what was going to happen next. When you and Josh finished the handshake successfully, Josh and Tyler pulled you in for a hug. Then they both said to you (not into the microphone)" when the concert is over, meet that bodyguard over there, his name is Steve. He will let you backstage." You nodded excitedly and leaped off the stage You told your friend what was gunna happen after the concert and that you'll just text her to come pick you up when you're ready.
(Time Skip to after the concert)
You say bye to (Y/BF/N) and head over to where Josh had pointed earlier, to the bodyguard, Steve. "Hello, I'm (Y/N), while I was on stage, Josh said to come over here at the end of the concert" you said to the muscular guy. "Yes, why hello, miss (Y/N), right this way" You followed him down a hall as he led you to a door with a sign that read "Josh Dun" on it. You felt a lump form in your throat when you realized Steve had led you to Josh freaking Dun's dressing room. Steve knocked on the door firmly, and you heard a "come in" from the other side of the door. Steve opened the door for you as you walked in.
Josh looked up from his phone at you. His soft, mocha eyes met your (E/C) eyes. He walked up to you and gave you a quick hug. "You came!" he said happily. "Of course I came. The one and only Josh Dun invited me!" you replied, meeting his tone of excitement. "I just want to thank you and Tyler for everything. Your music has helped me through my toughest times" as you were talking you started tearing up and didn't realize you let a tear slip until Josh reached up and wiped away your tear. "Hush.." he said. "It's okay, it's okay. Thank you for caring enough to come to the show and watch us. If it wasn't for people like you, we wouldn't be here right now. We make music to help you out, because we have the same problems as most of the clique. It's okay.. to not be okay" your head was tilted down, looking at his feet right in front of you. He lifted your chin and scanned your (E/C) eyes before leaning in for a kiss. You kissed back. His lips were soft as they massaged onto yours. He then pulled away when your best friend texted you. "I need to go, my friend is here to pick me up" you said, not wanting to leave. He nodded, and then he led you out of the arena, but on your way out, you ran into Tyler. You gave him a big hug and thanked the both of them repeatedly. Then you looked up into Josh's sad, mocha eyes and gave a hug. He reached for your phone in our pocket during the hug and started o put his number in your phone. You thanked them again, gave them another hug and waved bye.
