After that short text conversation, I text Riley and Nyla to tell them our plans. They finish up practice and meet me in front of the company building. We head over to the Stray Kids dorm while discussing the mission along the way.
"How's the duet coming along?" I ask the two, slightly nudging the girls' shoulders.
Riley runs her fingers through her hair, "Good, I think, but it's weird without you."
"Yeah," Nyla agrees, "I hope the mission after this is all three of us. I've been working on some tracks for all three of us anyway."
I smile at her, "I bet they sound incredible."
"How about your solo performance?" Riley questions me.
Shrugging, I reply, "It's okay. I have to admit, it gets lonely without you guys. All this time I thought I would enjoy a break from you."
I break into laughter as the two girls lightly kick me at my comment. With more fun conversations, we make it to the familiar dorm.
"Welcome!" Chan yells, letting us in their dorm.
We spot the boys sitting down and join them, Chan plopping onto the ground after us.

"So," Woojin starts, "A duo and a solo. How is that going?"
I speak up, "It's not ideal, but we're still doing our best."
"Don't worry. I think the three of you will be back together in the next episode, and if not, definitely by the end of the show," Jeongin tells us, his smile full of optimism.
"Thanks, Jeongin. Now, let's move on to something happier," Riley says to the group.
We spend the evening telling random stories of our life back in California and listening to their hilarious predebut stories, ultimately bringing us all closer together.
