A/N

There is a wedding in the beginning of this chapter and it's going to be secular for the sake that not everyone is religious and/or celebrates the same religion. I hope you understand.

Also, this chapter is a good bit shorter than my other ones, but it's probably one of the sweetest ones I've written.

Location: Oahu, Hawaii

"You look beautiful, sweetheart," Mom says while cupping my face with her hands.

"Thanks, Mom," I say with a soft smile, when the door to the room opens.

"Mommy!" two childish voices shout, and I look over to see my twins running over to me.

"Hey! Look at you two all dressed up!" I grin while picking them up and setting them on my lap.

"Mommy pretty," [D/Name] giggles, and her brother gives a toothy smile and nods.

"Not often I get to see you all dressed up," Dad's gruff voice states, and I smile when I see him standing in the doorway.

"I do tend to like to go for more casual looks, don't I?" I crack a grin, and he walks into the room. I set the twins down on the ground, before standing up and walking over to my father.

"What happened to the little girl who would get into all sorts of trouble with me?" Dad asks with a small chuckle.

"She's still here. Just taller and grown up." I adjust my Dad's tie before giving him a quick hug.

"You ready?" he asks, and I smile.

"Yeah." I nod, and Dad holds out his arm to me. I grin and loop mine through his, allowing him to lead me out of the room with Mom and the twins behind us.

"There's the bride. You look amazing," Jayden says when we reach the glass door that leads outside.

"It was about time you and Connor tied the knot," Leo grins, and I hug both guys.

"Thanks for coming, you two," I chuckle before looking outside. "Is everything ready?"

Jayden and Leo nod, and I look behind me at the twins who hold Mom's hands. They're eyes lighten up when they see me looking down at them, and I chuckle and kneel down. They let go of my mother's hands and tackle me in a hug.

"When you walk outside just go straight for Daddy, okay? He'll tell you where to go then." I whisper in their ears. They nod their head, and I smile before letting go of them.

Jayden pushes open the door and holds it as the twins walk out hand-in-hand. Jayden and Leo follow after them, leaving me with my parents. They each take to one of my sides, and I grin while looping my arms through theirs. We walk out the door and down the path to where Connor stands by Markus, who is officiating the wedding.

I meet Connor's gaze, and his jaw drops in awe while his cheeks dust over with a blush. He mouths the word 'wow' to himself before smiling widely. I giggle when I reach him, unhooking my arms from my parents, and taking Connor's hand that he holds out to me.

"You look absolutely breathtaking..." Connor whispers to me as he takes my other hand in his.

"You look rather handsome yourself," I respond with a quick wink, before glancing at Markus, giving him a quick nod.

"We are gathered here today to celebrate the joining of two hearts and to recognize the beauty of love, along with adding our best wishes to the words that shall unite this couple in marriage. Is there anyone who has reason to object to this couple being married? If so- speak now," Markus says.

No one speaks out in objection, and Markus continues with the ceremony, "We come now to the words that will take this couple from being engaged to being married. A marriage, as most understand, is a voluntary and full commitment. It is made with the desire and hope to last for eternity.

"Before you declare your vows to each other, I want to confirm that it is your intention to get married today. [Name], do you come here freely to give yourself to Connor? If so, answer, 'I do'."

"I do," I respond with a smile.

"Connor, do you come here freely to give yourself to [Name]? If so, answer, 'I do'."

"I do," Connor states and gives my hands a small squeeze.

"Connor and [Name], having heard that your intention is to marry one another, I now ask you to declare your wedding vows. [Name], your vows."

I look into Connor's eyes, holding his hands a bit tighter as I recall my vows. "Connor, you are my best friend, my confidant and supporter, my partner in fighting crime, the father of our children, but most importantly, you are the person I love. The person I want to spend the rest of my life, and the person who holds my heart. With these vows, I ensure my love, respect, trust, and honor to you."

"Connor." Markus looks at him.

"[Name], when we met in Detroit nearly four years ago I believed I only had one purpose and that was a mission: to assist with the investigation on androids. You showed me there was more to life then what I was created for, and for that I'll forever be in your debt. So, my new mission is to love you, to care for you, to respect and honor you, to be there when you need me, to be honest with you, and whatever else you need of me. These are my vows to you," Connor says, his voice steady and sincere.

"The rings?" Markus inquires and Jayden walks up with the matching bands in hand. "Jayden, will you hand [Name]'s ring to Connor?"

Jayden hands over the simple wedding band and Markus nods. "Connor, place the ring on [Name]'s finger and say what you will."

Connor takes my left hand and places the wedding band on my ring finger. "I give you this ring to symbolize our devotion to one another. Think of me as you wear it and know that I love you."

"Jayden, now give Connor's ring to [Name]," Markus says and the ring is handed to me. "[Name], place the ring on Connor's finger and say what you will."

I take Connor's left hand, looking into his eyes which stare at me with nothing but pure love. "I give you this ring to symbolize our devotion to one another. Think of me as you wear it and know that I love you," I repeat what he said while sliding the band onto his ring finger.

"Now, as a friend of the couple, it is my honor to pronounce them husband and wife. You may now seal this marriage with a kiss," Markus says, and Connor lets go of my hands and cups my face.

"I love you," he says, and I giggle.

"I love you, too, Con," I respond before he captures my lips in a passionate kiss.

My ears drown out the sounds of the small crowd, and I wrap my arms around Connor's neck while closing my eyes. One of his hands drops to grip my waist, and he dips me, making me softly yelp. I begin to laugh against his lips, before giving him one last kiss as he stands me back up again.

"We're married," I say while staring into Connor's brown eyes.

"Technically, we still have to have the marriage certificate signed before the marriage is recognized, but yes, we're married," he says, and I playfully roll my eyes.

"I have the certificate here. I have signed it and your Mom and Dad have signed it as witnesses, [Name]. All that's needed is yours and Connor's signature," Markus says while showing us the paper.

"Let's make it official," I say, and Connor and I each sign our names.

"Congratulations, you two," Markus says, and we exchange hugs with him.

"Mommy! Daddy!" two high-pitched voices shout. Connor and I look to the side to see the twins scurrying up to us with Mom and Dad following behind them.

"My babies!" I grin while scooping them up in my arms and kissing their foreheads. "You two ready for cake?"

They eagerly nod their heads, making Connor and I chuckle. Connor takes our daughter out of my arms and holds her against his chest, and we turn to face my parents. "It's official, Connor. You're apart of the family," Mom says happily.

"Thank you for welcoming me," he says, and I look at Dad who refuses to meet my gaze.

I narrow my eyes at him until I see why, making me crack a grin. "Dad... are you crying?"

"No..." he grumbles, and I chuckle.

"Yes, you are."

"Not a fucking chance."

"Language, Hank!" Mom scolds him, and I chuckle.

"Admit it, Dad. You're crying," I say, and Connor nods his head.

"I can see your tears, Hank," he says.

"You two will never stop teaming up on me will you?" Dad groans but chuckles slightly.

"Like you said, 'not a fucking chance'," I smirk, and Mom sighs.

"Why do I even bother telling you guys to watch your language. It must be an Anderson thing," she mutters to herself, making us all laugh.

"Well, I say we get to the reception. I know the twins here want cake, and I could certainly go for some food," I state while bouncing my son up and down in my arms.

"Sounds great," Dad mutters, and all of us walk off to the reception hall.

~10:15PM~

I relax to the feeling of Connor's fingers tracing random patterns on my bare back. The room still is stuffy from the events that had just transpired. A gentle kiss on my forehead makes my eyes shift to meet Connor's, and I raise an eyebrow in question.

"What was that for?" I ask with a faint smile.

"Am I not allowed to kiss my wife?" he asks, and it feels like my heart does a flip at the word 'wife'.

"I didn't say that," I murmur, burying my head in the crook of his neck.

"I like that word. Wife. It feels good to be able to call you that. [Name] Anderson, my wife."

I grin against his skin, lifting my head up to look at him. "Connor Anderson, my husband," I state, and he smiles softly.

"When I saw you walking towards me today, I couldn't believe it was real. I do not regret becoming deviant almost four years ago. If I hadn't, I wouldn't be with you. You deserve the world and more, [Name], but I hope I'll suffice."

"Connor." I move so I'm straddling him, bringing my hands to his face. "The earth could give me every luxury it has to offer, but I would never choose it over you or the twins. My family is my world. Whether that's cheesy or not, I wouldn't want it any other way."

I lean down and capture his lips in a sweet kiss, letting all my emotions into it. Connor responds immediately, bringing his hands to my waist as I slip my tongue into his mouth and explore it. He moans softly into the kiss, and I smirk at the control I have.

"You're starting something," Connor murmurs as I pull away from his lips and start leaving hickeys on his neck.

"I know." I lightly nip on his skin. "And I intend to finish it."

"We need to set a reminder to thank your parents for watching the twins while we're on our honeymoon," Connor says, letting out a groan when I roll my hips over his.

"We will, but let's not think about that right now," I whisper in his ear while lightly touching his chest. "I want to focus on you."

"I am aware." Connor's grip on my hips tightens slightly as I leave a trail of kisses down his neck to his chest.

"Is there anything you want, Connor?" I ask, and his eyes glaze over with lust as a lazy smirk comes to his face.

"You."

"[D/Name]! [S/Name]! Come down here!" I shout, eyeing the dog which is now multiple colors that it wasn't before.

"What happened to the dog?" Connor asks as he walks into the kitchen with groceries.

"That's what I'm about to find out," I say just as the twins walk into the room, freezing up when they see the dog in front of me.

"Hi... hi, Mom," [D/Name] murmurs and tucks some of her [H/C] hair behind her ear.

"Care to explain why the dog looks like a rainbow threw up on it?" I eye the two kids.

"Curiosity?" [S/Name] responds though it sounds more like a question.

I sigh and shake my head. "What am I going to do with you two?"

"Forgiveness would be nice," [D/Name] says, and I pinch the bridge of my nose.

"Just go wash the dog, then we can talk about what happened. I'm not mad, you two, but I don't want this to happen again."

"Understood, mom," they both respond, before grabbing the dog's collar and leading her upstairs.

"They get into quite some trouble," Connor says while wrapping his arms around my waist and pulling me so my back is flush against his chest.

"That's how I was as a kid. Guess kids really can take after their parents," I chuckle while tilting my head to the side. "We should probably help them clean up the dog before our bathroom looks like a war zone."

"That would be wise." He leans down to kiss me when I feel a spray of water against my side.

"What the fu-" I look over to see the kids with water guns, and the dog soaking wet.

"Run, [D/Name]!" [S/Name] shouts and grabs his sister's hand. They leave two water guns behind before running off.

"Oh, it's on now," I state, grabbing one of the guns and running after them.

I see them run out the door into the backyard, and a water war breaks out between the three of us. I laugh as I dive out of the way of some water, only to be tackled by the twins when I'm on the ground.

"We win!" my daughter exclaims, and I smirk when I see Connor sneaking up behind them with a bucket of water in hand.

"Is that so?" I ask, and their faces scrunch up in confusion. I point behind them, and they turn around as Connor dumps the bucket of water over them, some of it landing on me.

"No fair, Dad!" [S/Name] pouts while shaking some of his wet [H/C] hair into place.

"I wouldn't call it fair to spray your mother with a water gun in the house either," Connor points out.

The twins puff their cheeks before huffing and looking down. My eyes dart from my water gun to Connor, and I smirk before spraying him with it. I giggle as the kids start cheering, and even Connor smiles in amusement. "You were the only one not wet," I say while placing the now empty gun down.

"I would say that was a fair move," he says and joins me on the ground. The twins make themselves cozy on our laps, and we watch as our dog runs around the backyard.

"You two still have to clean the dog up," I state, and they groan.

"I believe we all need to be cleaned up," Connor says, and I chuckle.

"First one to the shower gets all the hot water!" [S/Name] shouts before taking off inside.

"No fair!" [D/Name] complains and chases after her brother.

Connor and I watch in amusement as they leave our sight, before looking at each other. "You know, we can save water by taking a shower together," I suggest with a sly smile.

"Would be good for the environment and our water bill," Connor states, and I stand up and look at him.

"You coming?"

He gets onto his feet and picks me up bridal style, making me laugh and wrap my arms around his neck. He looks down at me for a few seconds before leaning down and giving me a quick kiss.

"What was that for?" I ask, and he smiles.

"Nothing. I just wanted to kiss you," Connor responds, and I can't help but smile.

"I love you, Connor."

"I love you, too, [Name]."

"Forever and always?"

"Forever and always."

~The End~

A/N

So that's the end, my dear readers. I really hope you at least somewhat enjoyed this book. It means a lot that you all read it. I'll give a proper thank you in a short chapter after this (along with a quick discussion on other books I'm interested in writing), but this is the end of this book.
