"May I come in?" I saw Mr. Khan asking my permission to come into my room. "You are always welcome uncle." I gave a warm smile and packed the things which I had shopped here.
"I wanted to give you this." he showed me a wooden bracelet having a red and black thread to tie. It had 'The Most Trusted' craved on it. "This was given by Varna to me and she said to pass it to someone who I trust the most. I trust you Nandini. I trust you that you can find what had happened to my Varna?, who did that to her?, Why he did that to her?. Please wear it." I couldn't take my eyes of it.
I took it and he tied it around my right hand wrist. "Why did Varna mam give it to you?" it looks beautiful. "After our marriage Varna was offered a female lead in a film, but she was hesitating to take it. I encouraged her and she got 3 awards for that film. After that she came to me and gave it to me. She said she can trust me blindly with anything and asked me to pass it to the person whom I trust the most in future. Now I want you to repeat it when you meet that person." he said and went away.
"Boooo" I was startled by the sudden sound. This grass hopper cannot stay in one place. "What the hell Manik, you scared me!!" I yelled throwing pillow which was on the bed. "Duh Nandini, I wanted to scare you." he shrugged and plopped on my bed. Just an hour before I had it hung in the sun. "What do you want Manik?" I need to pack my inner wears and this ill mannered person is not leaving.
"I want you to come with me." he said taking the rubrics cube which I bought for Rishab. He is very much expert in it, so I have bought a set of 5X5, 4X4, 6X6 rubrics. "Manik! I have bought it for my cousin, don't touch it." I snatched it and packed it along with my clothes. "So are you coming?" the last thing I wanted was Manik's undying behaviour of taking me to a date, so I nodded with sleepy head. "Ok, be ready at 9:00 pm, we need to sneak out." he ran out without even listening.

Manik and me are walking in the road after sneaking out. It's totally like the horror movie here. I want to run into my room and lock myself, but when Manik asked about ghosts, I denied that I won't fear, but I am freaking out inside. "Where are we going Manik? I am tired." I said and sat between road. "Only a few meters common." he said, but I didn't even shake a bit. I thought this will make him to drop his plan of date and we might return, but I was totally wrong he lifted me from the ground which startled me.
"Manik put me down I will walk. Put me down!!!" I screamed, but this bull smirked at me. I want to punch that smirk. Finally he let me down and started to walk. I saw a small school from which some sounds were heard. He intertwined his hand with mine and took me to school. A play was going on there. We sat in one of the chairs as there were few people. Apparently we are in a small village near Pune so I can expect this.
The play was from the myth Mahabharata, where Krishna marries Rukmini by eloping from her home town. I was truly amazed how the kids presented it. "Why did you bring me here? No doubt I loved it, but why here?" to which he gave a warm smile, but dragged me near the stage stage.
He took a mike and started to sing the song 'love you zindigi'. I was mesmerized by his voice. When he finished he came down and called some students who were gathered. "Kids I promised right I will bring your a role model? She is standing in front of us,the famous NM!!" now whole students saw me like I am from some other planet, not earth. "He.....Hello?" I was nervous seeing all at once and Manik didn't even inform me.
"Are you the one who brought water mafia, human trafficking, illegal adulteration of food.. and so on to picture?" one of the girl with two pony on either side asked me to which I nodded. All of them came near me with dragging their parents and taking selfie. Wow I didn't know I was this famous.
When we were finished with all this I wanted to ask Manik why did he bring me here, but he is faster "You are thinking why did I bring you here?" I bobbed my head seeing him being so expert in reading my thoughts. "I wanted to show you how much people love you without seeing you. They all love you and consider you role model just by seeing your work. When I came here yesterday I asked all of them for a wish and one of the girls who you met now, wanted to meet you."
"I want to say you something." he paused and we stopped walking. "Will you be my girlfriend? I know I didn't ask earlier, but now I want your opinion. I want you to believe in me, trust me enough to stay with me. Will you?" I am confused I really am willing to be his girlfriend, but what if I need to leave him? What if he leaves me? What if he betrays me? What if......
I am confused about this relation.
