I want to marry you.
But I want to do it the right way.
I want to avoid and prevent any and all future arguments and fights.
That's impossible, but if I make it my goal, maybe I can lower the conflicts to come.
Books and counseling.
I know it's sounds strange, uncomfortable to have strangers dictate a part of our relationship.
Consider this: why not accept help from people who are desperate to give it?
They've only given and provided so much information because perhaps they've been in our position before and want us to avoid all the struggles they went through.
Truly they have only our best interest in mind. I'll take all the help I can get to avoid making my parents' mistakes.
