I looked around, trying to see signs of Endorsi and Anaak.

I sighed, not knowing what to do.
Ah! I could try reading the shinsu waves. I bet I could, Hansung said that I had a good compatibility with shinsu...worth a try.
I focused my thoughts on the shinsu energy around me, searching for the strong pulses of shinsu that were Anaak and Endorsi.
The water was messing with me, the waves disrupting my concentration. Argh! Try harder you idiot! I focused harder, clenching my teeth.

A light disrupted me from my concentration.

I woke up, groggy and foggy-eyed.

The world still seemed to sway before my eyes, and I couldn't focus on anything.

Anaak...? Is Endorsi here...?
"You- Did you- Have you been controlling the bull?!"

I recognize that voice...that fluff ball is here too?!
"From the start, this test was engineered to kill you. The test, the supervisors who administered the test, this entire floor, and everything in this tower...are your enemies.Because you are an enemy of Jahad."
The fluff ball giggled, but that laugh did not sound kind at all...
What's happening...is Anaak and Endorsi ok?

I felt myself being dropped, and I stood up, shaking.
I looked around, and I saw Anaak on the floor, bleeding.
Anaak?! "Anaak?!"
The fluff ball walked over to Endorsi, telling her to wake up.
"Wake up, Princess Endorsi. Princess Endorsi-"
"Shut up! How many times have I told you not to wake me up!?"
The fluff ball was completely slapped, and a slap from a Jahad princess hurts.
"Ugh...my head hurts. Sorry for the usual reaction, but where am I?"
She looked around, seeing the scene laid out in front of her.
"(Y/N)? The wave controller teacher?"
Her eyes landed on Anaak, and immediately she had questions.
"L-lizard?! What's going on?!"
"W-witch...fatso...that fluff ball is the enemy!"
Dangit- I thought that was all taken care of by Hansung-
The fluff ball grinned, and then bowed.
"Sorry for the late introduction, Ms. Endorsi. I am ren, a member of the royal enforcement divison unit no. 67."
I glared at the fluff ball. "Mr. Ren...I thought you were taken care of by Hansung."
"No, no, didn't you hear? Hansung wants to help me!"
Endorsi sent a death glare at him. "Help you kill that lizard, am I wrong?"
"Yup, that's what I'm about to do!" Ren smiled, oddly happy for someone who's going to kill someone.
"But before that, there's something that I'd like to confirm as a teacher."
"Confirm...?"
"What could you possibly confirm for us?"
Endorsi and I looked at Ren questioningly, wondering what he had to confirm for us.
"I was wondering...are you also helping that fake go up the tower?"

I looked to Endorsi, wondering what my friend was going to do.
She looked askance, avoiding Ren's eyes. "N-no way. Why would I help that fake?"
"But then, why did you eliminate other rivals in previous tests?"

Ren cut her off, smiling. "Oh!! You don't have to explain to me! You can prove it with your actions, right now!"

I jumped over to Anaak, taking a protective stance over her.
"You will die before Endorsi ever agrees to that."
"Hohoho...are you sure about that?"
I looked to Endorsi, and she didn't meet my eyes.
"Endorsi...?"
"Why are you hesitating, princess?"
"W-well, I would, but we still need that fake for the test, we need her on our team-"
"Don't worry about that. I'll take the bull with me when I leave. That means you won't need the fake anymore, correct?"
"But...it's just that-"
"Princess Endorsi!"
Sh1t, the fluff ball isn't going to postpone Anaak's death at any means...
"Are you siding with a girl who wants to take revenge on the Jahad Family?"
Endorsi didn't answer.
"If Jahad found out about this, there would be less of a chance for you to receive on of the 13 month weapons in the future..."
Ren handed Endorsi the Green April, catching it in her hand.
"Show me princess...that you're worthy of receiving a 13 month series weapon."
She hesitated once more, every passing second growing longer and longer.
"Are you scared to kill that girl over there?"

"W-well, it would be such a waste to kill a talented regular-"
"Kill her. She's also wanted by the Jahad Family."
Dangit- I forgot the assassin part of being an assassination target.
"..." Endorsi turned to both of us, with an uneasy look in her eyes.
"W-witch...are you really..!"
"Endorsi, please..."
I stood there, begging for Endorsi to choose the right choice.
"Don't blame me."
She came closer, swinging the weapon in our direction.
She brought the curve of the weapon to our bodies, ready to cut us at any moment.
Dangit...! I could've gotten away sooner if I had just-
"Hey, lizard. (Y/N)."

"Let's all eat something after this test."

As she lowered the weapon, I jumped from the spot, grabbing my strongest needle, a clear glass one.
"Endorsi, if we're going to eat after this, then I'm not paying."
"Oh no, don't worry, Anaak's paying."
"What!?" Anaak looked at us like we were crazy, angry.
"How can you both talk about eating together in this situation?!"
She paused for a bit, getting up. "You...you two mean it?"
"Yup."
"Yeah."
"...well then, I can only afford cheap food."
God dangit- Then what's the point-
"But first...let's kill that cocky bastard!"
I jumped back to where Endorsi and Anaak were standing, readying my weapon.
"Green April...Ignition!"
Anaak swung the Green April down, creating a huge dust cloud.
"What is this..?!"
I threw a string around his ankle, making it so that he couldn't move.
Endorsi then hit him with the Black March, and Anaak slammed the Green April into him.
We're getting him!!!
I pinned him down, making sure that he couldn't move.
"This is it fur ball!!" Endorsi jumped at him, readying the Black March for the final blow, and-
"Hehehehe..."
What?
"Oh princess...this is self defense."
A thing came out of the fur ball, and a huge ball of shinsu begin appearing.
"Endorsi get away-!"
Crack!
The shinsu hit Endorsi, smashing against the wall.
The force of the explosion sent me back into the wall, and I could hear my bones crack.
"Witch! Fatso!"
The fur ball went to Anaak, kicking her hard.
"Ugh!"
He swept her under his foot, and placed it on her throat.
"Hehe! I guess I have no choice, I'll just take care of them myself..."
I was suddenly brought to his side, and he stomped on me once, silencing me.
I could barely speak, everything hurt.
"You bastard...stop..."
The fur ball turned to Endorsi, grinning. "I'll be sure to report this to Jahad. Through this, there will be one less competitor in the Bia Family's princesses."
"Hehe. Now the fun part is over. Time to die."
He started pressing harder on Anaak throat, making her claw despretly at his foot.
"Get..this thing..off me..!"
"Ahh! Lizard!"
"AAAARGGHHH!"
Anaak's shouts of pain echoed across the cavern, and stupid fur ball was laughing.
"Hehehe...the best way to kill insects...are stepping on them."
"Haha-"
A rock came from the darkness, hitting him on the head.
What...?
We all looked toward the source of rock, wondering who it was.
"...who's there?"
More rocks came from the dark, hitting him every time.
"Wha- Who-"
Yes- Keep hitting him-
"Who dares to do this! I know you're there, so show yourself!"
Someone emerged from the darkness, and it sounded like a girl.
"Those two ugly girls you've been beating on? I'm...their older sister."
And a familiar face came into the light.
