A FBI fanfiction

After an argument with the team, Isobel disappears without a trace. The team does not worry more than that at the beginning, thinking that she does not assume what was said and done. But this is not the case, and the team will realize their mistake. Will it be too late? Too late for Isobel?

After an undercover mission, Isobel is reunited with her family.

This Crossover fanfic is dedicated to my friend Callie who got me watching/falling in love with FBI. Don't expect to actually get stuff of them working a case because that's not gonna happen, sorry not sorry.

Isobel's command of English is flawless-until it isn't. A botched idiom in the bullpen spirals into a running joke, much to Jubal's amusement. Between "shit ducks" and cats coming out of hats, she's had enough of English metaphors-and she's not afraid to complain in Spanish about it. Just another day at the office for the FBI's most linguistically creative SAC.

This one shot is based on the events of the FBI Season 7 finale, "A New Day," where Isobel collapses after a high-stress operation, leaving her fate uncertain.

When SAC Isobel Castille is summoned to a closed-door meeting with the ASAC, ADIC and DIC of the New York Field Office, she assumes it's just another political dance with brass and egos. Until the first shot is fired. The conference room becomes a war zone. The building goes into lockdown. And Isobel becomes a hostage in a strategic coup orchestrated by someone on the inside-someone with a grudge and a plan. Back in the JOC, the team realizes the severity of the situation before anyone else does. With the upper echelons in chaos, it's up to Jubal Valentine and the field agents to coordinate a rescue mission without command authority, without a clear threat profile-and without time. In the FBI, ghosts don't stay buried-they wait to be found.

Isobel never made it to work. She didn't call in. She didn't answer her phone. She didn't show up. And by the time they find her, it's far too late. The worst part? She wasn't armed. She was at home.
