(Third book of the I Miss Her I Need Her series) A few months have passed since Eleven and Mike closed the gate to the Upside Down. Everyone's lives have turned back to normal and Hawkins lab shut down, freeing all their experiments with them. Unfortunately, things go south and the Upside Down is spreading to the real world due to a serious accident and a new villain. The party knows that it's up to them to save the world once again, but will things go the same as before? Mike and El will have to make some serious decisions in order to save the world, but will they be able to do it in time? (Rated M for violence and language)

There has been a time skip and the main party are all at least 17 or 18 years old. They all just finished their last year of high school and decided to celebrate with a journey over summer. Their parents have agreed to let them go under certain circumstances, this really shocks and excited the party shocked that they actually agree and excited that they finally get to go on a long car journey without their parents bossing them around saying 'no don't do that!' 'It's time to finish up!' 'Bed time!!'. The kids set off on their journey, which will go on for the whole summer, around the USA, stopping off at certain places. A year after the snowball, Elven is finally allowed to go to school as Jane Hopper. Max is officially part of the group. Max and El are best friends. Now Eleven starts school and a lot will change. People will come and go and promises will be broken. "I'm fine Mike, just leave me alone. Go talk to Isabella, not like you will miss me much anyways" I said angrily. "No we are gonna talk, you said you wanted that, right so we are" He said. "Okay then I don't want to talk anymore. I'm done. That's all I needed to know" I said. "El you don't need to act tough around me" he said. "No, I don't but I don't want to see you. Just leave me alone. You like her Mike and I said it was fine, so why don't you just leave" I said walking faster. "Slow down and let me explain" he said but I just kept walking faster not bothering to answer anymore. "ELEVEN" Mike yelled grabbing my arm. "Listen to me" he said turning me to face him. "I didn't want this to happen. I know you think I'm crazy, but she-she is just so-" he said. "Pretty" I finished looking down.

When Mike goes to California to surprise Will and El for spring break he instead discovers things about himself. As a teenager the struggle between love and friendship is so hard to find. Especially if your true love is your best friend... Contains some language, homophobic language in the chapter "bad dreams again" (This story takes place with no vecnea in Hawkins or need for El to have powers.)
