Hailie locked herself in the bathroom, but quickly changed her mind when she saw what a disaster was inside. Toilet paper was rolled all over the wet floor and the whole room was stinking. She hoped that Debra would take care of this mess as she was the one who wanted to throw a party. Hailie was pretty bored right now and honestly wished to go back to bed. How delicious would it be to lay down, but that was more like a dream than a real possibility. With all those loud people in the house Hailie felt stressed out. Chilling wasn't an option.

She didn't have anybody to talk to. Pride was sitting between two men in the living room. They've spent an hour there already. Hailie had no idea if Pride wanted to get laid, she wasn't even sure if demons could do it with humans. Nevertheless, she wasn't going to interrupt her.

Debra on the other hand wasn't the perfect company, but Hailie couldn't talk with her either. She was spending her time on Lucien's arm or knees, kissing and licking him all evening so that every girl in the house knew who his girlfriend was.

Tony was also missing. He took a lot of food at the beginning of the party and she hasn't seen him since.

And so the party wasn't fun for Hailie. She didn't seek contact with new people. She just wanted to feel safe in her own house yet it was impossible with all those students inside.

It would be so much easier if she was easy-going. But she wasn't. And actually she was fine with that.

"Hey, are you alright?" Hailie rushed up to a person lying on the couch. The guy with long, curly and blonde hair looked like he was unconscious. She didn't want to know what he drank, but in her honest opinion he seemed a bit like a homeless person with all his loose and messy clothes. Well, maybe that was his Halloween costume.

"M-mhm," he mumbled.

"Hey, is everything okay?"

"Yeah, yeah, let me sleep." He opened his eyes and suddenly sat down as if somebody electrified him. "Hailie, hi!" He yelled, making her surprised that he knew who she was. "Whoa, you rock, girl."

She frowned. Who was this guy? Did she know him? He didn't look familiar at all.

"Thanks, I guess."

"Props to you, girl, for always standing up for what's right."

She slowly nodded. For her it was a drunk mumbling, which probably meant nothing. She had no idea that the guy lying on the couch was somebody who lived under the same roof as she. His words applied to the fact that she stood up against Debra, when that noisy girl dared to offend Gluttony. All of them, demons, were already talking about it, full of recognition for Hailie's actions.

"Have a good party then," she said slowly, not sure how she could help that guy.

At least he was conscious again.

She couldn't know that Sloth actually just wanted to go back to sleep. His presence created a perfect aura of tiredness and dizziness around all those drunk people.

The house was full of guests. Hailie has never seen so many students gathered in one place. Taking some empty cups from the floor and the tables, she gazed around at Halloween decorations. She couldn't decide whether she loved the look of the house or hated it.

Debra did an amazing job with all candlesticks, paper ghosts and bats, banners, creepy carved pumpkins and fake spider webs everywhere you go. There was even a skull vase with dead flowers. And how the glowing neon crystal balls looked! Maybe it was more of St. Andrew's Day decoration, but it still did an impressive job here. Her favorite was a scary skeleton sitting in his own armchair. He was in the center of attention with all guests taking selfies with him.
