(Y/n)'s p.o.v

It's been a few weeks since Corpse and I have started dating, it's honestly felt like a dream and I couldn't have it better. I'd often spend my days at his house, if I had to go to the hospital for a visit, he would go with me and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

The most we had done was cuddle and small kisses on the forehead and cheeks since I didn't really want to move too fast and Corpse agreed, so it was cool. He was also respectful and when I got overwhelmed about certain situations when out in public, he would call and help me calm down.

At the moment, Corpse was asleep with his head on my lap as a Home Alone played, it was 25th December, Christmas Day. We didn't wake up early because we didn't really care about it and we gave our gifts to each other last night because we couldn't wait.

I looked down at Corpse as I let my fingers run through his curly hair with a small smile on my face as I leaned back a bit more, continuing to watch Home Alone. I then felt him move his head and look up at me with tired eyes, we did go to bed late so I'm not suprised. ''Good morning, darling.'' I told him as I placed a kiss on his forehead.

Corpse smiled slightly as he told me, ''Mhm, morning princess.'' as he closed his eyes again, showing how comfortable he was as he turned towards me and placed one of my hands on his cheeks as he smiled slightly, just laying there as we relaxed, enjoying the peace.

A few hours later.

I opened my eyes as I looked around and saw it was getting dark outside, which meant that it was around 4pm and you could say that we practically slept through the whole day. I looked at the TV and saw that a different movie was playing, I then looked to the side and saw Corpse sleeping cuddled up to my side which made me awe.

I carefully shuffled out of his grin and then placed a pillow in my place and decided to make us something to eat since we didn't really eat anything but sweets since yesterday, and I was kind of hungry. 

(I swear, if any of y'all judge me for writing the cooking like this, I'm blocking you, this is the way my mom does it, and it's amazing so go away you bumholes)

I went to the kitchen and turned the lights on, making sure that Corpse was asleep after I did, once I was certain that he was, I got some mince meat from the fridge that I got a few days ago, I then I turned the heat on and took out a pan and put some oil on it and waited for a few seconds.

When I noticed that the oil was heated enough, I put the mince meat on the pan and I broke it down with the spatula so it would cook easier and not be a square clump of burnt meat.

I kept mixing it so it wouldn't burn, but I made sure not too often so it would cook, in the meant time, I started to peal the potatoes and when I decided there was enough, I washed them and cute them each twice, filled them with water and put them on the stove with the heat on.

After 30 minutes of watching the potatoes boil and cooking the mince meat, I felt a pair of arm be softly placed around my waist and a small pressure on my head. After a second of panic, I quickly realised it was Corpse and I relaxed quickly, ''Afternoon sleepyhead.'' I told him as I mixed it yet again as I put the spatula down.

''Why'd you leave the couch?'' he asked as he moved his head from mine and nuzzled his face into my neck as I felt my hairs rise from hearing his morning voice along with his breath against my skin, ''I had to make something to eat.'' I told him as he hummed slightly.

''We could've ordered take away..'' He grumbled slightly as he kept me in place, ''I know, but this is better and I haven't had it in a long time.'' I replied as I slithered out of his grip as he asked, ''What are you even making?'' He asked as he looked over what I was cooking as I turned on the oven.

''Shepherds pie.'' I answered as I started to make tea for the both of us, making sure nothing was burning, ''What is that? Is it some British thing?'' He asked yet again as I boiled some water for the tea, ''I guess so, you're asking too many questions though, but yeah. I haven't had it in a while and thought you might want to try it.'' I told him with a shrug.

''I'll give it a go.'' He told me as he stood next to the kitchen island as he ran some fingers through his hair, ''I'm gonna go have a quick shower.'' Corpse told me as I nodded and gave him a cheeky grin, ''Can I join?'' I joked as he chuckled lightly and told me, ''The doors always open.'' as he walked off to his room.

I blushed slightly after he left, leaning against the counter as I put a hand over my heart, ''This man's gonna be the death of me.'' I whispered to myself as I heard a small sizzling sound and remembered the mince meat, ''SHIT'' I quickly ran over to it and mixed it.

I sighed in relied when I realized I didn't screw it up and decided it was time to add the ingredients, like vegetabes and flavourings(idk what they called, idc) and the shepherds pie mix I managed to find a few days ago, I don't remember why I bought it, but it's a win either way.

I drained the potatoes of their water and souls down the sink, and then mashed, added butter to make them more smooth and mash like, rather than in pieces. I then pulled out a (idk what its

 called too) see through glass pan and placed it on the counter.

I then poured the mince meat first and plopped splodges of potato on the top and spread it out and at the end, I ran through it with a fork to give it the usual look. I placed it in the oven and turned the heat down making sure that it wouldn't burn, lastly I set the timer for 40 minutes as I decided to do something in the mean time.

I made me tea and let it to the side so it can cool as I got a message at the same time, I checked it and saw Corpse had texted me.
