Countless sight of ocean.

Rowing your boat, you tried to look for your way back home. Nothing. It was only the filthy sea water that filled your nostrils, and the dark sky shining down on you.

Why were you even out here? You were only attempting to find resources for your small town home, but at nightfall, you lost your way. And now you suffer the consequences, being lost at sea.

You needed somewhere to stay temporarily, at least for a couple of days to retrace where your home is. You only hope your family will be fine with the delay.

Just as if your hopes had been answered, you notice a small, tiny spec of a piece of land ahead of you. You grow ecstatic over your find, and row faster to head to shore.

It took you about 15-17 minutes to reach shore, but you realise that the town, or.. city maybe, was a little ways away from shore. But nothing like a little walking wouldn't hurt, right?

Walking closer to the town, it looks more like a full on nation. You could even see a flag, flowing with the wind. It even looked.. a bit intimidating, but it was your only chance to having a place to stay.

When you reached what looked to be the entrance, you begin to hesitate. What if visitors weren't welcome? What if this nation was violent? Or dangerous? You didn't have much experience with fighting, so if someone were to attack you, it was likely that you would freeze out of fear.

You were still going back and fourth between what to do, until a voice broke the midnight ambience.

"Uh.. Hello? Are you alright? It's the middle of the night!"

You freeze and tense, but you manage to turn around. A young boy with brown hair, baby blue eyes, and a green tunic looks at you with concern.

"I-.. Uhm, yes.. I'm sorry, but I got lost at sea and could only find this place as the nearest shore. If this place allows visitors to stay, I-"

"You don't have a home?"

"N-Not at the moment, my home town is miles away, so I just need time to-"

"YOU HAVE NO HOME?!?"

The young boy rushes up to your side, seeming panicked.

"You're not hurt are you?!"

"No, no.. I'm okay."

"Okay, okay, uhhh- Here, follow me!"

He grabs you by the hand, guiding you past the entrance.

"Here here, don't worry about a thing, I'll talk to Wilbur and we'll get this sorted ou-"

"Talk to me for what?-"

"AAAH!-"

In a matter of a second, someone else walked up next to the boy, who jolted and screeched at the sudden voice. You look at the newcomer, who was much taller and had dark brown, curly hair.

"Wilbur! Hi!"

"Tubbo, who's this?"

You shyly wave at Wilbur, standing behind Tubbo, despite being taller than him.

"Okay, long story short, got lost at sea, found L'manburg and needs to stay for a couple days to find home, sound fair?"

Wilbur looks at you, debating and thinking on Tubbo's words.

"Uhh.. Well, I don't see a problem."

You smile at Wilbur.

"Really..? If it isn't any trouble-"

"No no, you're fine! What's the harm in letting someone stay for a bit? We'll help you locate your town and give you directions, okay?"

You nod, mumbling a "thank you." Tubbo seems to be really happy, bouncing in place, and Wilbur smiles brightly.

"Well, welcome to L'manburg! We'll show you around later, because right now you probably need some sleep."

The rest of the conversations were small talk, as you were guided by Tubbo and Wilbur, allowing you to stay with them for the meantime. They mentioned about some other people they know that are apart of L'manburg, but you would have to meet them tomorrow.

You were pretty exhausted anyways, so you went to bed shortly after. Grateful of the outcome that was laid out before you, you only hoped that this stay will be pleasant, and that your family will be fine without you there to help them.

• next time •

Opening the door, you walked out, stifling a yawn. But when you looked out before you, Wilbur and Tubbo were chatting with someone new. When this new person noticed you, they grew confused, and a bit defensive.

"Wh- Who in the hell are you?"
