"How many hours has he been in that damn meeting room?!"

You shrugged, taking a bite out of a baked potato in your hand. Tommy continues to pace on the grass, walking in circles.

"I.. don't know. It's been a while."

Tommy's eye twitched at this, crossing his arms as he turns to face you.

"You gotta admit, (Y/N), Wilbur's been going nuts."

"You think I haven't noticed?"

You sigh.

"He looks awful.. he's so focused on figuring out a plan to win back L'manburg. I don't think he's aware of what a break is."

"Tell me about it."

Tommy soon sits next to you, both of you leaning on a tree. You continue to eat, and Tommy chuckles a bit while watching.

You turn to him, with a mouthful of food making your voice muffled.

"What?"

Tommy laughs harder, smacking his knee as he looks at you.

"You look like a chipmunk when you eat! You even have your cheeks stuffed!"

You turn away irritated, pouting as you swallow your bite.

"Look, we don't have many plates and shit back at home, so-"

"Nononono, (Y/N), it's adorable! I'm just saying!"

Tommy wiped his eye, catching a small tear after he laughed so much. He turned to you, wiping off a small crumb off the corner of your lip.

"I'm calling you chipmunk now."

You roll your eyes as he snickers.

"Okay, rooster boy."

Tommy wheezed at the mocking nickname you gave him, and this also caused you to laugh.

Both of you quiet down when hearing Wilbur in the distance call out for you both.

Tommy gets up, helping you up as well.

"About fucking time."

"You think he has a plan now?"

Tommy scoffs.

"I don't know, and I don't care. I'd rather spend time with you here, outside in this calm forest, than listen to one of his meetings."

You both walk back as you turn to him. Holding hands.

"We'll come back here after, okay? I'm sure it won't be super boring."

'Okay yeah, this is super boring.'

You whisper to Tommy, making him snicker a bit. Wilbur was busy explaining a new plan, whilst everyone had a look of boredom.
