Working as Glitch proved to be no difficult task for me, and If my web name were to ever be bought up in a conversation I knew perfectly well how to reply and conduct a decent conversation without seeming suspicious.

Fine, so maybe that second part was a lie.
Glitch has never been bought up in a conversation with me before. Especially since I would never really communicate to anyone in general; regarding topics more complex than what the average 14 year old brain was capable of comprehending. I never had to worry about people asking me questions about Glitch...well...up until now. It was all fair and well that Fred clearly admired my digital crime solving persona but-
Wow.
He was more obsessed with superheroes than anyone I had ever seen online or in real life, and he was firing out question after question to me about Glitch, after finding out I was another person who knew about them.
It was getting considerably annoying after the first few minutes.
Then again, considering how his father was literally a superhero/comic book writer, combined with his immense love for all things Marvel related, could I really be surprised at his infatuation with the real life enigma of what is Glitch? It's as if being a superhero and being obsessed with heroes was engraved into his DNA.
"Okay, so I asked this on Glitch's Reddit, but do you think they live in a secret bunker under the sea?"
I took a deep breath and counted to ten in my head before shooting Fred a false smile, closing my eyes so that he couldn't see the bloodlust that was radiating from them. "Fred...have you ever stopped to think that maybe Glitch is a big secret because they don't want to be identified?"
He stopped talking for a second, as if he was actually putting thought into my question and would provide me with an intelligible answer for a change. However, that was clearly not the case as he flashed me as stupid smile and gave me a thumbs up.
"Well if Glitch didn't make themselves such a big secret, then no one would try to uncover them, plus, I wanna know who they are so that I could try and get an autograph! Ooh! Or I could be an undercover spy for them!" He pretended to hide behind his arm as though he were wielding a cloak, slinking around me in a stupid manner.
I rolled my eyes, clutching the strap of the bag more firmly as I headed down to the cafeteria. I needed to ask Honey Lemon if the sleeping draught was complete. It was for security purposes I swear, and I figured she wouldn't mind me asking her such a strange request, she does have a strange friend group and she's always experimenting in her lab, so it was was easy for me to shrug off that it wouldn't be a big deal
