"Spooky season has officially started!" Fred yelled over the phone, Mini-Max on his shoulder that Sunday during a group video call (minus Y/n who didn't want to be seen currently) Everyone was connected and everyone was doing their own thing whilst they talked to one another, excluding Hiro who was currently at his long-awaited orthodontist appointment.
Fred was reading one of his many comics which he owned, Mini-Max clinging to his head and joining in on the conversation. Wasabi was reorganising his bookshelf in alphabetical order. For the fifth time that week. Gogo and Honey were both sharing the laptop over the call, Gogo sitting on the couch and reading her magazine whilst Honey kept herself in front of the camera as she spoke.
Finally, Y/n was babysitting again, with Rem being her moving camera and screen as she settled down the twins that she was looking after. They were two boys, both with light brown hair, called Ryouga and Ryuusei. Ryouga was a relatively easy boy to settle down for nap time, but Ryuusei on the other hand...
"And so has the countdown for Hiro's birthday." Y/n had pointed out as well, pacing the room with the child who was still awake, trying her best to settle him down for his evening nap. She pats his back continuously, bouncing the baby up and down over her shoulder, waiting and praying that he would fall asleep soon, and stop biting into her shoulder the way he was doing now.
"Yeah! Has everyone got an idea of what they're gonna be getting him for his 17th?" Fred asked the others, who all revealed their ideas. Honey was quick to indulge him in the information which Y/n had shared with her and Gogo, that day they went shopping. The reactions that the younger teen had originally received from the older girls, were replicated by the older boys, who both got up in the cameras of their screens.
"I must say fair maiden, that is a very ambitious plan you have!" Mini-Max announced, falling from Fred's head and toppling onto the couch due to the vast movements which had shaken him off.
"Hacker show your face right now! Tell me you're kidding!" Wasabi demanded in a high-pitched voice, with Rem lowering the volume as he noticed the sharp glare that she was aiming towards the screen, pointing to Ryuusei who was over her shoulder and starting to nod off.
"Give me a moment." She sighed, and removed the brown-haired toddler from her shoulder, laying him down in the playpen next to his brother, and covering the two with a blanket. Next to them lay Sorei, who also wanted to sleep, and Y/n stared fondly at the three toddlers who were snoozing their afternoon away. Then after placing a delicate kiss on each of their foreheads, she stood up, turning to Rem and waving her hand tiredly as a sign to switch over to video call.
"I'm not joking." Y/n muttered, seating herself on the couch and crossing one leg over the other. "It won't be extremely difficult, however it will take time and space so uh...I..." She swallowed thickly, a grimace starting to cross her face as she realised what words were going to come out of her mouth. "I need...I...uh..."
