Y/N's POV
-----------------------
Three months later"Y/N, are you ready? It's your turn in a few minutes," one of the other dancers said to me as I was adjusting the straps on my red shoes.
"I'll be out in a moment," I respond, slightly raising my head.
Over the past three months, I have trained my dancing and have gained near complete control over my ability, though the latter part was a secret only Yuka and I knew because I started to trust her. She told me I could incorporate it into my dances as a way to "enchant" the viewers to swindle some money. It was wrong, but it helped me gain better control.
Said dances serve as entertainment to the public. I was initially hesitant on joining at first, but I really needed a source of survival. The pay here was pretty decent, and the job included the perks of meals and a place to stay. Small dancing businesses like this one have been extremely popular as well, so this really was the best place I could go.
Though this was my first dance, Yuka said that I'll be a hit because of the mysterious mask over my face. Everyone here apparently knows the legend about the otherworlders, and who knows the extra surplus of money I may bring with that title I hold as an otherworlder myself.
"Y/N, it's time," Yuka said with a sweet smile.
A swirl of butterflies flutter around inside my stomach as a sign indicating my nervousness as I stood up to straighten my kimono, "Coming."
As I made my way over to the stage, I straightened my mask.
Tanjiro's POV
-----------------------We has just arrived in the town and commenced our search for the otherworlder. Based on the information we have gathered on our way and from what Oyakata said, it should not pose a challenge to us since otherworlders have a beauty that extends most other's.
I heard footsteps behind me abruptly stop, as I look back to see it was Inosuke who looked slightly dazed.
"Inosuke?" I said as an attempt to check on him.
He seemed to snap out of it, "What are those," he points at the cluster of lamps and bright colors. This seems to be his first time in a city, and I understand his reaction as I had nearly the same one.
"Country bumpkin," Zenitsu deadpanned.
I glance over at Zenitsu, who seemed to have calmed down since our final demon fight, despite Oyakata saying there would be none.
"Hey, why are there so many people over there," Inosuke said, pointing over at a food stand.
"Oh, those people are waiting in line to receive a certain type of food, though it could be anything," I say, thoughtfully.
He looks over at me, then at Zenitsu, then takes off sprinting toward the line. He cuts in front of a several people, as he probably doesn't understand the basic conduct of humanity.
"Um, excuse me, you cut in front of everyone," someone said to Inosuke, with slight tinge of nervousness in their tone,
"But I didn't slash anyone?" he said, head tilting, "But I will if you want me to!" he goes to grab his Nichirin Swords to fight once more.
