Y/N's POV
-One Week Later-
-----------------------"So you're telling me nothing strange has happened to you lately?" I question another girl who recently just reappeared.
"Um... Yeah?" she responds, uncomfortably.
"Okay then," I say, unsure of myself.
It's just so strange! Why on earth are these girls reappearing and having no memory of being kidnapped? No one else seems to remember as well, not even my grandma.
I sigh and continue my way toward the school building. I look upward and see the leaves falling, signifying fall.
Once I'm settled in my desk at school, I lay my head down on it.
"I saw this shady guy earlier today watching some girls talking at the corner," Jack said to his friends, "How much you wanna bet one of them will be kidnapped next."
Sick.
They all erupt in laughter. I glance over at them, glaring, "You shouldn't joke about that, you know."
Jack's laughter stops immediately, as his friend's laughter dies down a bit, "We were just..."
I turn my head from them and stand up.
"Ah, where are you going Ms. L/N?" Ms. Brown asked.
"To check on those girls," I pause, "Which corner, Jack?"
"The one in front of school, on the right-"
"Alright then, I'll be right back."
"Wait! Are you going alone?" he questions me.
I look away from him and walk out of the room. Making sure no teachers were looking, I ran the rest of the way. Maybe if I warn these girls, I could prevent another kidnapping case?
I spot three girls as I near the corner, no shady guy in sight, "Hey! Get inside!" I yell at them in case he was behind them.
"Oh, Y/N! What's the matter?" one of the girls said, worry on her face,
I stop in front of them and catch my breath, "Be careful... Kidnapping..."
"She does have a point, those are increasing..." another girl said.
"Yeah, let's get inside, come on, Y/N," the last girl said, looking around frantically.
"Where are you going so soon?" a rasping voice cut in.
We all froze in fear, our eyes widening.
"Well, I was initially planning on taking those three, but then you showed up," he said in my direction as we slowly turn around.
There stood a man with matted, long, black hair covering most of his face. One of his eyes were stitched closed, while the other one had a stamp on it. I couldn't quite read what it said. He had a maniacal look on his face as he locked eyes with me. He seemed intrigued by me, and me alone.
I decided to use that as a ticket for the others to get away, "I'll let you take me if you leave them out of it," I say because if I could prevent an extra three kidnapping cases...
He paused in thought for a moment then he smiled creepily, "You would be worth more then those three combined, so you have yourself a deal."
Shivers went up and down my spine as his voice sounded like nails on a chalkboard.
The three girls cowered behind me, quivering in utter fear. I gulp then step forward.
"Wait, Y/N! Don't do this!" one screamed.
I nervously smile and mouth the word, run.
They all bolted off, leaving me behind, but after they entered a gate, they stopped, questioning themselves as to why they were running frantically.
I stand there, confused. Why weren't they getting help?
"Memory erasure," the man said glancing over at the girls.
I glare at him with hatred, about to hit him and run off, but my feet seemed to be unmovable.
I glance below me, a black liquid seeping from the ground. This seemed to be the reason as to why I can't move. Just what is this stuff?
Tears threatened to spill as I thought of my only family, my grandma.
I soon got knocked out.
Darkness surrounded me.
Before my head hit the ground, I heard a small gasp.

A/N:
Let me know if you liked the beginning part, and if you didn't, it will get better soon, I promise. I didn't plan the beginning, but I planned the next part, which I hope is interesting.
Also, I'm sorry that this chapter is short. I will update another chapter late today or tomorrow.
