I really wanted the epilogue of this story to be very different from the other stories... and I have no idea if I managed to do that. But anyways, this is the tail end of this story and I sincerely thank every one of you who showed interest in my story.

It was definitely not a smooth journey. I've wanted to discontinue writing this many times; had miserable writer's block and changed the plot many times. But despite all that many of you still read it, regardless of how long it took for me to update... *flicks tears away* AAAAHH BIG HUG AND BIG THANKS TO ALL MY BABIES!!!

Okay now lets wish our protagonists a happy life ahead!

4 YEARS LATER

Nandini's POV

Standing on the balcony of Manik's office, I looked out at my pack doing their daily chores and I felt a weird sense of deja vu. Leaning over the railing I closed my eyes and that day came back to me. The day before the gruesome war that took away my precious people. The damn prophecy.

The King and Queen of the West did pay the heavy price.

A lot of things changed since then.

Although it happened over four years ago, that day and the raw emotions I felt, the pain and the stench of blood... it was still fresh in my memory as though it happened yesterday.

Things did get better, Faith reminded me while itching her ears.

Yes sure it did. Everyone lost someone but we stuck together, cried and mourned together and smiled together.

Abhi, who lost a limb because of the war, recovered pretty quickly and now is more of an Alpha than ever before. I can never say this to his face but I am so fucking proud and in awe of how he pulled though the pain and how he does not let his disability stop him from doing anything.

Actually, him and Mukti got married few months ago and they sorted out their pack proceedings with Manik and I before they went on a well- deserved long honeymoon vacation in New Zealand. They were having fun, if you know what I mean.

My Mom now teaches small kids how to draw and garden. She found gardening very therapeutic as she was coming to terms with losing Dad. She now grows everything in her gardens; she doesn't even go to the grocery store anymore. My Mom also conducts Circle time every week when the members any and all packs in Sienna come and share their worries. I am so proud of the work she has done.

Kiara and Charlie were two people I missed the most. In the short time I knew them, they had become so important and prominent in my life that even now, I sometimes wait for Charlie to run around in her high boots or see the flaring red haired Kiara at Manik's office. But I knew they were in a better place just like the many other who lost their lives fighting for our pack including mine and Manik's Dad.

Ah and Manik...

He's been the most supportive partner I could ask for. He's kind, funny--

Hot, sexy and drool worthy

--considerate, romantic---

Passionate is the word.

Okay Faith. Time out. Get out of my thoughts.

I am you, just saying. And she let out a sly laugh.

I sighed and just then I saw Manik come towards the pack house after a run around the border with Cabir. He looked up and waved at me with his signature smirk.
