Marked by the Monster [COMPLETED]

"ARE YOU CRAZY?!!" Manik exclaimed throwing his hands up in frustration.

"I AM NOT GOING TO LET YOU GO TO HIM ALONE!!"

I sighed and took some deep breaths to calm myself down.

"Manik I'm not naive enough to walk into the lion's den all alone without any back up." I said and heaved a sigh of frustration.

"Manik... I think you need to listen to her before jumping the fire" Yash said as he placed the map on the table.

"Fine"

"I don't have a solid plan yet, that's why I need you guys. But what I'm proposing is that we let Micheal believe that I went alone to meet him at the war field." I said making eyes contact with the five pairs of eyes listening to me intently.

"But that's really not going to be easy... considering he uses black magic and can disappear and make things disappear with a flick of his fingers," Yash said, running his hands along his beard.

"Yes I know that. That's where you come in. Remember when you read our prophecies, you hadn't met me before that day... and yet you were able to find my prophecy, right? How were you able to know that I was already with Manik at the time? Because if I remember correctly, that was the first day we met?" I asked.

"Yeah th---

Just then there was a knock on the door and Navya came in with a big tray of food.

I gave her the biggest smile I could possibly muster and said, "You are a saviour".

"No worries. I hope I'm not disturbing?" Navya asked as she carefully placed all that she made on the table while moving that map to one side.

Navya had bandages on her as well. A deep slit on her shoulder that required multiple stitches and a sprained ankle were the notable ones. I felt sorry that I had to ask her to make food for us but i had no choice... It was late at night and most of them had gone to bed and most importantly I had zero knowledge on how to put together an edible meal.

"No not at all. I'm just glad that I have something to eat now."

"Thank you Navya" Ishaan said while digging into the food.

I was sitting on Manik's lap and munching on some pasta. Cabir escorted her outside the room while Yash was in deep thought and Manik playing with the ends of my unwashed hair.

"Yeah it was the first time we met. And as far as how I knew you were with Manik, I heard rumours obviously," Yash said as a matter of fact.

"But how did you know that I was Nandini Murthy of the Blue Moon pack to find my prophecy and read it?" I asked picking out the dry blood around my fingernails.

"Tamara... I've told you about her before. She's a very powerful witch who can see images in her crystal. That's how I knew that you were the missing link." Yash said while furrowing his eyebrows.

I could sense the plan being formed in his head too.

"But Nandini, you are a werewolf but he is a shadow wolf. Prophecies are only present for werewolves and humans to an extent." Yash said as a matter of fact.

"But once upon a time he was a werewolf." Manik said.

"Exactly!" I said and beamed at Manik.

"Yeah so basically the Luna wants you to find Micheal's prophecy with Tamara's help," Pranav said non nonchalantly munching on his food.

"Oh... but what if the prophecy is only speaks only until that moment when he became a shadow wolf and traded his soul to the darkness?" Ishaan asked.
