Asher glanced at me in the corner of his eyes. Now let out a louder sigh to try to catch my attention. But when I didn't spare a glance at him. He looks very depressed, almost like an emo teenager. The more I thought about it. An emo teenager does look like Aizawa. Suddenly, I got so lost in thought.

I didn't know what was happening around me. That is until Aiko snatched the computer out of my hands. Pouting at the working girl, I finally looked at Asher with a bored expression. An ark mark appeared on his forehead as he stormed right up to me, clearly angry about something. He was about to say something, but I shut him up by stuffing a whole cookie into his gaped mouth.

"How long have you been outside?"

I asked, annoyed a little by his childlessness. behavior. He said something that was not audible at all, because of all the food he has stuffed into his mouth. I shook my head in disbelief and passed him my unfinished cup of water.

That I had opened this morning, it was surprisingly still cold. He 'politely' snatch the water bottle out of my hands and chugged the cooling beverage down. He swiftly threw the empty bottle at me, which I caught successfully as it neared my head. Throwing it behind me, it landed in the trash bin. This had made Asher pout once again. He sighed and fell headfirst onto the couch, like a damsel in distress.

"Although I'm not one of those people who spends time listening at keyholes and down chimneys. I have been here long enough to hear that you called Aiko a cute puppy." He whined. His cheeks were smooshed against the leather couch. "Why can't you compliment me like that?"

His words were a bit deformable due to the position he was in. At least I could recognize what he's talking about. I looked at him and shrugged before glancing at the clock. It had just hit eight in the evening. And the agency was about to close soon. I didn't even notice that the sun had set down to welcome the clear sky filled with sparkling stars. I watched in awe. Stars seemed to be one of the only things that could help me relax, which I was very thankful for.

Asher was considerate as he decides to tolerate my quietness and let me enjoy the scenery. Once I had decided I had enough peace, I turned back to face Asher. It felt quite odd when you have some quiet time alone. When most of your life, I have been surrounded by the most annoying people.

"That's cause I see you as an energetic golden retriever. That will stick by their owner's side in all cost."

He sat up and pouted, "But doesn't that mean I'm loyal?"

"Some may say it's called loyalty. But with a mind-like mines, I think it's called annoying. Like an overprotective dad hanging onto their daughter when it's time for marriage, you know?"

"Whatever. At least I think I'm loyal."

I chuckled, "Think what you want. I'm not a politician. I can't change your opinion with an inspirational speech."

The sound of a bell ringer was produced out of the speaker, signaling that it was time to pack things up, to head home. I stood up, dusting the imaginary lint off my dress pants. I tidied up the collar of my suit and adjusted my barn red tie. Patting Aiko on the head one last time to remind her that it was time to go.

Quietly, she obeyed and scampered over to grab her belongings. With a smile, I walked up to Asher and bent down to pat his black hair. It looked like he enjoyed it, he purred as I continued to comb my hands through his hair. A groan erupted from my lips as I felt a shock of pain from nowhere.

Ignoring that for now, I helped Asher stand up to walk toward the door. It was getting harder to breathe as each second passed. The pain was almost unbearable. Pushing Asher out the door, he looked at me in confusion when I didn't look I was about to move.
