"I know that you're unstable."
The wind blew his luscious black locks back, revealing his black orbs that were locked to my lips.
"But I just can't help myself..."
He gently tilted my chin up and leaned in, sealing our lips together.
"I love you...

Eventually, we got through the paperwork. I mean, Shota got through the paperwork. But it's the same thing. Filling out those papers was a nuisance. I had a better thing to do.
Hinata was ecstatic to see us, pouncing onto us like a wild tiger hunting for his prey. He clapped his hands together, overfilled with joy after he heard that he was getting adopted. I puffed out my cheeks, seeing that the first person he went to was Shota. Warping his little arms around the male's waist, giggling happily.
Of course, the big dork was awkward around him, still confused on how to deal with the enthusiastic little kids. But he eventually warmed up to Hinata, picking him up and rocking him in his arms. I smiled as Hinata made his way to me with little tears filling up his eyes. Seems like the weight of the situation had finally dawned onto him. That wasn't going to ruin this moment, though. He sniffles as he pulled me into a hug.
I smiled, ruffling up his hair and offering up the option to get ice cream or to go grab a bite for lunch. Through sniffles, he finally decided to get ice cream to cure the lack of sugar he had today. He even had proposed the idea to get some candy at the nearby candy store.
Shota and I shared a look, then looking back down at the delighted kid as he skipped around the room. We caved in when he grabbed our hands, leading us out of the orphanage. Bidding farewell to the nice lady. We made our way to the candy shop as Hinata giggled nonstop. Deciding that today, we get to spoil Hinata as much as we want. And that's what we did until it was time to get back home.
Hinata was in a deep slumber when we entered the house. Everyone was busy packin' up their stuff for tonight. But their attention shifted to me when my mom screeched in joy. Accidentally walking up the orange boy in Shota's arms. Hinata took the situation well, mainly interested in his surroundings. Until his eyes fell on Hitoshi.
And that's when we introduced our friends and family. Bringing Hinata more joy as he climbed onto everyone, waving hi. He was certainly interested in my brother, completely attached to the lad. And the worst part was that Hitoshi didn't have to do anything to win the little boy's heart.
Hitoshi continued to entertain him the whole time all the way, even throughout the plane ride. He said that he was only doing this for my stake but I could sense that he actually liked Hinata. But all good things had to come to an end. Hitoshi had to wish farewell to Hinata, which was really hard to watch. Especially if there were tears included. But we persuade Hinata that we would visit Hitoshi frequently, as much as he wanted. With a little hesitation, he said his goodbyes and made our way to Shota's apartment. Since it was closer to the airport compared to mines.
The next day we had to drop Hinata off at our parent's house so we could head to work. Arriving at the school, I finally got to meet Eri. She was a sweetheart, shy at first but warmed up to me with a little push from Shota. We took her home. Supposedly, she had spent time with Mirio when we went on vacation.
Hinata was jealous at first when I gave Eri my undivided attention. Letting her show me all the drawings she did over the weekend. Eri suddenly passed Hinata a piece of paper and a few crayons. And then they hit it off. Like peas in a pod, they were inseparable. Almost like they knew each other all along. And that is what had brought us to this point.

"Have you seen my glasses, honey?"
Shota asked as he skimmed around the room. In search of his glasses. I chuckled quietly, bopping his nose. Pulling the glasses down to the bridge of his nose.
"It was on you all along. Next time check the mirror first."
He smiled, kissing me on the cheeks, "Why would I if I have you to look at all day."
"Mom. Dad. Stop flirting in front of us. We're trying to watch a TV show without interruptions please." Eri exclaimed, faking a gag in front of us, "Don't look at each other with that lovey-dovely eyes. It makes me sick."
I shook my head in amusement, "That's because you haven't found your own lover yet." Throwing the pieces of paper into the trash can, "You'll get mushy and yucky like this too."
She faked a gag again, "Never."
The doorbell suddenly ringed. Strolling over, I unlocked the door, allowing the visitor in. In an grey T-shirt with a black overcoat and all decked out in jewelry. There stood my little brother. The kids yelp out in joy, jumping off the couch towards Hitoshi. Pulling him it is a tight group hug. Hinata was the first one to spot out the unusual.
"Uncle Hitoshi! Is that another ear piercing?"
Hitoshi nodded, smiling, "Just got one today." He ruffled his hair, "Let's get going, should we? We have a fun day ahead of us."
The kids cheered, racing to put on their shoes as they followed their uncle out of the house.
"Can I get a piercing to uncle?"
"Hinata don't you dare."
But he was already too far gone to hear me. I internally facepalmed myself, hoping that he wouldn't do something out of his mind. Shota chuckled, pulling me into his chest with a smile. I smiled back, feeling his heartbeat increase as he holds me tighter in his arms.
"What would I do without you."
He raised his brows, "You'll be dead." I playfully punched him in the shoulder. He let out a breathy laugh. "Am I lying though? I did save you from that fall."
"Whatever." I closed the door, making my way back to the kitchen to start dinner before the kids come back. Smiling uncontrollably as I heard chuckling coming from Shota in the background.
I was lucky to find him. And I am luckier to hear him say that I was unforgettable.
