When you least expect it (Jensoo convert G!P)

"Are you sure about this?" Irene asks as she follows me down the stairs.

"Leave it alone, please," I beg.

"I just don't understand. Yesterday you were upset, yet now you are going back over there?" She asks, trying to understand.

"Because... I don't know why, ok." I mumble, making my way towards the back door.

"Jennie, I don't think this is a good idea." She tells me, making me pause with my hand on the door.

"That makes two of us." I say before opening the door and walking out. I make my way over the grass and through the gate, not taking as much care as usual. I know Mino is away out with Seulgi to get pizza, Yeri is at the library doing a group assignment with some of the ones from her year, and both mum and dad have to work late tonight.

I knock on the door before taking a few deep breaths. She pulls the door open and smiles down at me. Instantly, I give an involuntary smile back before stepping into the house.

"I have a few movie choices. You can pick one." She says as a greeting, walking towards the living room. I follow, sitting on the edge of the sofa and place my phone beside the row of DVD's that she has laid out.

I feel her sit down beside me, watching me as I scan the DVD titles. I take a few that I hadn't heard of before and read the back.

"This one." I hand one over to her. She takes it, looking at the title before a smile spreads over her face.

"Good choice." She tells me, getting up and putting it in the DVD player before grabbing the two remotes sitting beside the TV and coming back to sit beside me.

She sits closer this time, so her thigh is pressed against mine. She raises a hand and presses a button on the remote, making the DVD start. I sit back against the back of the sofa, feeling the tension in me ease.

"Have you seen this before?" She asks, leaning forward and grabbing the pack of sweets that was sitting on the table.

"No, Rosé told me it's good though." I reply, grabbing the sweets from her once she has sat back. She rolls her eyes at me, yet lets me open them and take the first handful.

By the end of the movie, I have relaxed into her company and ended up putting my head on her shoulder, leaning against her when she puts her arm over the back of the sofa.

"Well?" She asks when the credits start coming up on the screen.

"It was good." I tell her, lifting my head slightly. She smiles down at me before placing a small kiss on my forehead.

"What do you want to watch next?" She asks in a soft voice.

"You choose. I'll be back in a minute." I tell her, pushing up off of her and walking out of the room towards the bathroom.

"Jennie, someone -" I hear Jisoo say as I make my way back to the sitting room. Jisoo, however, cuts herself off. I stop at the door when I notice Jisoo sitting with a handful of DVD's in her hands, yet her head inclined towards my phone, which is lit up on the table.

"What?" I ask, moving into the room.

"Your phone." She growls at me. I pick up my phone, looking at what had made her whole body tense.

I notice I had a message from Song .

I stare at it for a moment, feeling a shiver go through my body. Jisoo stands up beside me, placing the DVD's back on the table. I look up from my phone to see her jaw set and her watching me with an annoyed expression.
