By the end of the day, you've made it about halfway to Gravity Falls. By late afternoon tomorrow, you should be there.

Getting off of the last bus for the day, you looked at your phone and saw the time was 6:37. You stretched; you were happy there was no more bus traveling today. The rides were enjoyable though, now that Stan and Ford were around to accompany you!

"So, there's a hotel a few blocks from here with some vacancy. We should check in there then get something to eat." Ford said.
"Sounds good." You responded.

Walking to the hotel, Stan told you all about how much he hated hotels.
"...And the bed's been used! If you know what I mean. Sometimes hundreds of dollars just so you can sleep on a dirty old bed! I HATE hotels."
"Stanley, you always overreact about this! They're fine! The sheets and blankets have been cleaned many times!!!"
"You can't clean a MATTRESS, Sixer!"

Throughout the day, in the many conversations held between Stan and Ford, you noticed Stan would call his brother, "Sixer," or "Poindexter" occasionally. You've had enough of being in the dark about it.

"Sixer?" You asked Stan.
"Yeah, it's a nickname."
"Um...care to elaborate why?"

The twins looked at one another, and gave each other curious looks. Playfully, Ford told Stan, "I don't think they've noticed."
"Noticed what?" You questioned.

Smiling wide, Ford held his hand up, indicating you should look at it. At first you didn't notice anything out of the ordinary, but after a second or two, you're sure if you'd been eating you would've choked. He had 6 fingers!!!

"Oh—oh my gosh!" You smiled, and without really thinking, you grabbed his hand in yours to look at it closer. "That's so cool! I don't know how I managed to miss that, wow!" You gave him his hand back as he chuckled.

"Haha, fun fact—my other hand is like that too." You looked at the other one, which he was using to carry his suitcase. Sure enough! Six fingers on that hand too! "Oh man, that's so cool!"
"You think it's pretty neat, huh?"
"Yeah, that's awesome!!!"
"I'd say 'thank you,' but I had no control over it."
"It's an...unusual compliment."

Before you knew it, the hotel was in sight. Holding the door open for you and Stan, you told Ford, "Thanks, Sixey!" You had fun with the nickname, but realizing "Sixey" sounded a lot like "Sexy," you quickly corrected yourself. "WAIT WAIT WAIT! That sounds a lot like something else...just never mind that. Thank you, Ford."
Both twins were amused, and Stan teasingly elbowed his brother. "Yeah, thanks."

At the front desk, Stan requested two rooms. A key was given to the twins, Room 124, and yours was Room 125. "Sweet! They're right next to each other." You proclaimed. Payments were made, and you all headed to your respective rooms.

"So, let's plan to meet outside by..." Stan checked his watch, "7:15? That sound good?"
"Yep, that works."
"We'll catcha' in 15 minutes then." He shot finger guns at you. You smiled at him and Ford before turning away.

They entered their room, and you swiped the keycard by the handle to open your door. Stepping inside, you saw that the room wasn't anything special: A Queen sized bed, a TV, mini fridge, sink, microwave, and bathroom. Just your average, ordinary hotel room.

You put your bags down and flopped onto the bed. The first flop onto a hotel bed is always the best. You took a deep breath, and sighed. It had been a long day. After a couple minutes of reflecting on the day—how you came to know Stan and Ford, mostly—you decided to change out of the clothes you'd been in all day. They smelled like public transit and unfamiliar people (excluding your new companions).

Putting on a (color/colors) (type of top) and (pants), You looked over yourself in the mirror. Not too formal, but not a complete disaster. In other words, casual.
