Sejun's POV

I drove back to the studio, my thoughts a jumbled mess.

"Where were you all these years?" I had asked.

"I was rebuilding my life," she had replied.

The tiny spark of hope inside me had died. She did rebuild her life. She rebuilt it well. She had married. She had a child. She had moved on. While here I was, still stuck in the past. Even when our dating ban was lifted, I had not moved on. I had not married. I had no child.

How unfair.

I arrived at ShowBT, got off my car and headed towards our studio.

"Dre, kumusta lakad mo?" Stell asked as soon as my foot crossed the door.

I huffed. "She's married."

"Mary?" Justin asked.

"Married," I clarified.

"Ha? Sinong Mary?"

"She's married!" I practically shouted.

"Huh?"

"Who is married?"

"Ha? Sino?"

"Wala ako na gets. Ha?"

I huffed again. They really wanted me to spell it out for them.

"Gab is married." I spoke. Clear as crystal. There's no way that they would not understand.

All four of them looked at me in shock.

"Weh?"

"Sure ka?"

"Paano? Kanino sya ikinasal?"

"Bat di ako naniniwala?"

"I saw it. She had a ring," I told them.

"Baka ring ring lang, bro," Ken told me, still optimistic.

"Anong ring ring, Ken?" Stell teased. Ken stuck out his tongue.

"Ring lang. Bawal ba mg ring?" Ken argued.

"Did she say she was married?" Josh asked.

I shook my head. "No."

"See?"

"But a little girl was there and she called Gab 'mommy' then Drake arrived and she called him 'daddy'. Now, what did that mean?"

I wish they'd just believe me. I wish they would stop doubting my claim. I just want this news to be over and done with.

It hurt. I do admit that it hurt. Seeing Gab happy with her family, I wish that it was me beside her. I wish that I was the one who fathered her baby girl. I wish I was the one who gave her the wedding ring on her finger.

I could only wish. The truth still remains.

She's not mine.

The statement that Gab was married was met by four speechless men.

"No way," Justin said in disbelief.

"Way," I told him, resigned.

"How?" Stell asked in equal disbelief.

"Who did she marry?" Ken asked.

"Drake," I replied.

"Oh," Ken said in a small voice. My heart constricted. It would make sense if she had married Drake. Drake and Gab were friends since medschool. They did internship, PGI and residency in the same hospital. They had been inseparable.
