"No one has been able to track that woman down for 4 years. Is it because she has changed her appearance now?" Zero asked.

{back to you and Maria}

"Well here it is." you announced.

"Thank you so much for bringing me here! I'm so happy!" Maria said as she suddenly have you a big hug. "I really appreciate you doing this for me. I'm glad I'm friends with a girl like you." she whispered in your ear.

"Um...your welcome. Well I'd better get back to class! Make sure you head straight back to the dorms after!" You said as you left.

"I will!" Maria called out.

After you disappeared down the halls, Maria's bright expression turned to a dark look. She turned and entered the terrace where Zero and Aidou were talking.

"That I do not know. Only the Purebloods themselves know all the powers they possess." Aidou replied. "What's more important now is how you feel about her and I want to hear that from you." he said. "Only you know...because you have a blood bond with her." he finished.

Zero's eyes widened at Aidou's words when suddenly felt a presence close by. He glanced behind him to find Maria standing there with a serious look on her face, then just walked away.

{at the Cross school building}

Classes were now over for the Night Class so they all went back to their dorms. Yuki and Headmaster Cross were in his quarters, studying for the coming up exams...well at least trying to study, even if you try to help Yuki study, you won't get anywhere because she'll stay on one problem for about an hour or two trying to figure why or how to do it.

"Yes, yes. You substitute the value of X here." Headmaster Cross said.

"What? Why?" Yuki asked, all confused.

"You don't know why?" He sighed as his sweat dropped.

[creak]

"Oh, Zero it's you! Thank goodness! Would you tutor Yuki? It's my duty to go on patrol during exam time." Headmaster Cross asked (well more like pleaded).

"I thought (Name) was going to tutor you." Zero said.

"Yeah, she was but she didn't come back. I think she's still mad at me after what happened today." Yuki explained with guilt.

" "After what happened"? " Headmaster Cross repeated with curiosity.

"It's a long story." Yuki laughed nervously while scratching the back of her head.

Zero remained silent.

"It's ok if you don't want to help." Headmaster Cross said with a grin.

"I'll help..." Zero replied as he sat next to Yuki.

"Thank you!" Headmaster Cross smiled as he got ready to leave then stopped. "Oh, did you come here to talk to me about something?" He asked.

"No, it's alright." Zero replied.

The Headmaster smiled and headed to the school.

After a few minutes later, Yuki and Zero were still studying for the exams.

"You made the same mistake last time, be careful." Zero sighed.

"Ah you're right!" Yuki jolted at her mistake as her sweat dropped. "Um, take this...then you use these numbers here, right?" She asked.

"Right." Zero said with a warm smile which caused Yuki's heart to skip a beat.

Yuki remained silent then noticed how Zero has been holding his neck for quite some time.
