Epilogue

We are all holding the signs above our heads, a smile on our faces. Due to the height differences, the signs are all at different heights, only Yeri and mine being similar.

Irene's hand flies to her face, not believing what she was seeing. She turns back to Seulgi to see her on one knee beside her, making a squeak come from her.

"Irene, will you marry me?" Seulgi asks, smiling nervously up at her.

"Yes! Oh my god! Yes." She answers, smiling. A cheer comes from the audience that had assembled as Seulgi stands and Irene pulls her into a hug before she steps back, allowing Seulgi to put the ring on her finger. She smiles down at it before tears appear on her face.

She looks back over to the group, seeing us all having lowered our signs and come closer. She rushes over, hugging me. You can see the smile on my face over her shoulder as I hug her back. She rushes and hugs everyone else. Seulgi comes over as well, hugging everyone, getting congratulations from everyone.

The video blackens slowly, until it has gone, getting a clap from everyone in the room. I turn to see Irene crying slightly. She leans over and hugs me before turning to Seulgi and hugging her.

Once dinner is over, some tables are cleared and the DJ asks for Seulgi and Irene to have their first dance. I smile watching them go to the centre and wrap their arms around each other, a smile on both of their faces.

I am currently standing at the bar, a drink in my hand, talking to Yeri. She also has a drink in her hand. She is telling me some story about her uni friends when she pauses, her eyes moving to over my shoulder. I notice her eyes take on a knowing look before she beams at me.

The moment my head turns, it feels like the air has been taken out of my lungs and I hear my heart skip a beat. Walking towards us is Jisoo. Her chocolate brown eyes capturing me the moment I see her. She is wearing a short dress, making it even harder for me to breathe.

"Long time no see." She says once she is in front of me. I smile at her, happy when she comes to my side, wrapping an arm around my waist and pulling me into her side.

"It's been what, four hours?" I say, stepping closer into her side.

"I will go find Carter," Yeri says, smiling at us as she walks past.

"How are you?" I ask. Her eyes take me in for a while before answering.

"Free beer. What else do I need to be happy?" She asks, her eyes twinkling.

"Is that all you need?" I tease, smirking at her.

"Well, I have to admit what you're wearing has me thinking thoughts about ditching the rest of the reception and taking you upstairs." She says, leaning down to whisper in my ear.

"Hmm..." I moan slightly, closing my eyes. "You're such a tease."

"You know it, Jen." She mutters back. I open my eyes and look up at her. She is smiling down at me, a loving and passionate look in her eyes.

"This will be us soon," I tell her, moving around to her front and slipping my hands around her neck.

"Four months." She tells me, looking happy.

"Four months," I repeat, sounding equally as happy.

"So, did you ever think you would be Jennie Kim?" She asks, pulling me closer by my hips. (a little reminder that Jennie's last name in this story is Kwon lol)

"If you had told me five years ago, I would likely have laughed at you. But, I like the sound of it." I murmur, kissing her softly, her lips sending the tingles I love through me. Even after five years she still has this effect on me.
