A Part Of It (Avengers)

Chapter 25

"Thank you for taking such good care of me and Aly, I love you lots I hope you know it." I told him, I hadn't said those three words and eight letters in a while, ever since the night mom left, I used to say it sometimes to Aly, but to someone else, never, I felt complete in his arms, I had my family, my uncle, everyone had my back now it was my turn to have theirs. 

"You're amazing and you have amazing powers, you are able to do anything you put your mind to okay? Never ever give up, never ever think about quitting, you heard me?" he said and I nodded, if he was trying to make me less nervous and make me confident enough to know that everything will be alright, well it was working, he build in me this confidence that I never had, I should've been the one building it, but I never was able to, so he did it for me, and his confidence in me, made me have confidence in myself. 

"I need to go, but thank you so much again uncle Nick." I told him, gave him a big hug and kissed him on the cheek, I left him there in his own thoughts just hoping he'll be alright with Aly.

I made my way to the quinjet and sat down, my bag in between my legs, I rested my head against the head rest and closed my eyes, thinking about everything, and praying that they will still be okay once we will be there. 

I woke up to someone slowly shaking me up, I didn't even realise I had fallen asleep.

"Hey M, we are arriving, I think you should go and suit up." said Peter gently, I could see he was nervous, how could he not be, besides taking part on the feud Tony had with Steve, he was just the friendly neighbourhood Spiderman, and I am sure he had his nerves eating his gut. 

"Thanks Peter, I will do it." I said blankly and I went towards one part of the jet where I could change, 

I stepped out of the changing part of the plane and it was the first time I was wearing the suit and the first time everyone would see me with it.

"You look- breathtaking." said Wanda, coming towards me and hugging me,

"That is one pretty suit." said Sam, smiling at me and I just smiled back.

"Hey Peter, I didn't mean to be this blank and cold, sorry I was just thinking a lot." I told him embarrassed and looking down at the fabric of my suit.

"Don't- don't apologise I understand I am as nervous as you are if not more." he said looking at the suit and how it hugs my curves, then looks back at me,

"Oh I doubt it Parker." I laughed nervously,

"You'll do great." he told me hugging me, and I hugged him back,

"Together we are invincible." I tell him and pulled away looking at everybody,

"As Cap would say, whatever we do, we do it together." Bucky said looking at all of us, we all smiled and got ready to land in Switzerland, the quinjet door opened and we all got out, and instantly we were met by war, they had deployed so many people for only three avengers, but looking back at it, they probably were right to do it, because now we were here and ready for the fight. I pressed my earpiece,

"Nat, Clint, Steve where are you guys?" I asked through my earpiece, as I sent a couple of HYDRA agent fly through the air and crash on the ground, the suit was so comfortable I could really move easily in it, I looked around and shot up in the air, I tried to fly and see if I would have a good vision of where they would be.

I could see Peter, swing and shoot his webs at some of the agents that were trying to attack him. Vision was using his stone to blast at the agents that were shooting at him. I dodged some bullets as they were trying to take me down as I was still flying. 

"Tony, ask F.R.I.DA.Y. if she can get any signals from them and if she can help us locate them." I asked through my earpiece. 

"On it, F.R.I.D.A.Y, can you see something? Talk to me." I hear Tony say,

"Certainly Sir, I have two body heat signals coming from a bunker not far from here and a third signal on the west side of where you are standing Sir." I hear the AI say, 

"Did you hear?" Tony asked me and I replied with a quick yes,

"Everyone stay down there, me and Mia are going to get them." I hear Tony say again, 

"Copy that!" I heard Peter, Sam and Bucky say.

I flew following Tony, he was seeing the thermal images of where they would probably be. I only wanted this to be over, I wanted to find them and get them back home to the compound.

"Tony go get Nat and Clint, I will go and try to find Steve." I told him and he showed me where I needed to go, rain started to fall and the skies were so grey it looked as if Thor would be paying us a thunder visit soon.

I landed back on the ground looking around and making a protective force field around myself just in case, I heard footsteps and turned invisible, I saw two agents that probably were called to join the fight, I punched one of them in the throat taking the other one off guard not seeing where I could be, I punched him and knocked him out, I wasn't about to play games anymore, my family was in danger, I had to be strong.

Just then, I see a woman agent she looked so young, probably the same age as me, and I couldn't help but feel bad for her, I had the choice and chose the good side, but what if she didn't have a choice on being here, what if she had to do it, kill or get killed. I appeared in front of her and her eyes grew wide, she held her weapon in front of her, her eyes not leaving mine, I couldn't read what they were saying tho.

"Hands in the air or I shoot." she said, trying to sound as confident as possible,

"You don't want to do this." I tell her raising my hands, I knew I had to save Steve but what if I could save someone else at the same time?

"I have to or they will torture me!" she said half screaming and a tear sliding down her cheeks,

"What is your name?" I asked her making a force field invisible around me just in case she'd go crazy on me,

"Tay." she said not changing her position, 

"Tay, if you lead me towards where you have Captain America I will help you out of this hell whole, I promise you, they will pay." I tell her and she shakes her head and cries some more, I was pretty sure that at this point she wasn't able to see me anymore through all her tears.

"Why would I believe you?" she said, and I just didn't know what to tell her,

"You'll feel it in you, why would I help you? Because I see myself in you, now if you don't want to follow me fine, I will find Rogers myself, but I am asking you not to get in my way Tay, I would do anything for my family." I tell her, and she hesitates but lowered her weapon,

"Following you can't be as bad as it is to live here and be here." she said wiping her tear away, she started to tear off her HYDRA badges,

"Follow me I know where he is." she said and I followed closely.

I just hope I arrive on time, hold on Steve, hold on.
