A Part Of It (Avengers)

Mia's POV

I got to meet aunt May, now she was so beautiful and so young, I wasn't really expecting this, she was so nice and tried to make me comfortable right away. Me and Peter made our way towards his bedroom and as soon as we opened an angry faced Ned was already sitting on the floor ready.

"You guys took forever!" he complains and I laugh, Peter shaking his head,

"Sorry, I had some things to do." he said trying to find an excuse,

"Yeah, yeah, superhero stuff, I know I know." he said rolling his eyes, I couldn't help but laugh, I plopped down on the floor and Peter sat next to me,

"So which one are we watching first?" I asked them and Ned gave me a 'duh' kind of look,

"Well, we started the old ones last Friday so now you are just going to catch up where WE left off." he said being really bossy and I just nodded,

"Don't be like that Ned." Peter tells him in a warning tone, and Ned sighs,

"Sorry Mia, I am not like that normally it's just that first you guys are late, and second, I still have no one to go to the prom with." he sighs and looks down, I pout and look over at Peter who just shrugs his shoulders,

"I could go with you if you really don't have anyone else to go with you." I tell him, I mean poor boy, I never went to any of my proms and it's something I regret now if I could make him happy I would, also MJ would be there so it'll probably piss her off to see me there, I laughed a bit internally,

"What?" asked Ned,

"What?" asked Peter again, in a disbelief kind of tone,

"Well, I mean why not." I tell them,

"No, Why?" Peter asked again he looked a bit mad,

"Peter, I want to help out Ned, and anyway, Ned I am sure there's this one girl you like and didn't get the courage to invite." I say, looking at Peter and smirking because that's exactly what happened with him,

"How'd you know?" he asked his mouth open,

"Oh well, I feel like guys are all the same lately." I let out a laugh only to gain a confused look from Ned, and a playful eye roll from Peter,

"You'll be able to ask her to dance and stuff, even if I am here, I will be there to build up your confidence my young padawan. Think of me as your wingman but as a girl if that even makes sense." I tell him smiling at him and wiggling my eyebrows and he laughs,

"Oh my God I love her." he said looking at Peter and I, I laugh and Peter just said,

"What?!" Which made me and Ned laugh even harder,

"C'mon Peter don't be such a grumpy cat, here let's play the movie." I tell him,

"Also, Mia, you think you could come and get me in the R8?" Ned asked and I burst out laughing,

"Ned you are supposed to go and get your date." said Peter, I couldn't help myself but to laugh, after all this, Peter finally relaxed and I could see that the idea of me going with Ned to the prom, didn't sit right with him, but I was really just doing this for Ned, and I honestly wanted to help him. After a while we started the second movie of the old ones, which is actually the fifth movie, anyway, halfway into the movie Ned gasped,

"Oh crap, look at the time! I have to go home or my mom is going to kill me!" he said standing up and rushing to grab his things,

"Mia, so nice to meet you and also thank you for coming to the prom with me, you can come pick me up at this address at 6p.m. this Sunday, I will send you the rest of the details by text. Peter don't forget to text me her number. Thanks, see you guys!" he said and rushed out, we heard him say goodbye to May and heard the front door close, I looked at Peter, he had a small smile appearing on his face, don't ask me why I have no idea, boys are now a complete mystery to me,
