However just as they join the rest of their teammates, as soon as they start hollering, teasing smiles plastered across their faces, Donghyuck feels that hollowing feeling begin to fade as something warm and reassuring replaces it.

"Isn't Donghyuck a liability now?" Yeri laughs to which Donghyuck mutters a quiet 'shut up', his slightly embarrassed reaction causing the Beater to grin, "I'm serious, one smile from your lover boy and you could spill our game plan-"

"Do you think so low of me?" Donghyuck cuts in, Jaemin then leaning in and just whispering 'toast' in his ear as a reminder of what he just had to witness at breakfast. Donghyuck elbows him softly before turning back to his teammates, "Plus Mark doesn't understand a thing about Quidditch, even if I did tell him something, if he told Yukhei, he'd get it unbelievably wrong and that would probably help us"

At Donghyuck's pathetic reasoning, Jaemin just shakes his head with a chuckle, "Please, Mark looks like he'd probably take a secret of yours to the grave"

"Gryffindors are loyal I suppose-" Sihyeon hums to which Jaemin barks out a laugh.

"He's whipped" Jaemin concludes, turning to point at Donghyuck accusingly, "And so are you"

As Donghyuck swipes his hand to Jaemin threateningly, a few other players laughing softly at the two friends, Hyunjin then sees this as a perfect opportunity to pipe up.

"Now Donghyuck has a Gryffindor boyfriend too, does this mean that you guys are going to get off my back?"

However at such a question, Yeri and Yuna laugh just a little bit louder.

"Oh, I don't think so" They chorus, Yeri shaking her head as she reveals, "It's far too fun to tease you"

Hyunjin then lets out a defeated whine, tired of being subject to their harmless taunts. It's then that Yuna turns to face Donghyuck.

"Look Lee, even if we did care that your now involved with a Gryffindor, what would we do?" She asks with a shrugs, "You're our only Seeker, as much as I hate to admit it, you're kinda important to the team"

At her almost showing some sort of appreciation towards him, Donghyuck surges forwards as he holds out his arms, threatening to hug her, to which she just ducks, muttering about taking back every seemingly decent word she's ever said about him.

It's then that Rocky cuts in, "Plus if we kicked you off the team, it would be very awkward considering we room together"

Donghyuck shares a smile with his roommate before Jaemin is clapping his hands, announcing for everyone to grab their brooms and get ready for another training session.

After a day of rather tiresome classes, sat cross-legged upon his bed, Mark takes some parchment from his nightstand, and reaching for his old tattered quill (Mark remarks that instead of 'tattered' it's 'trusted'), he then begins to sketch out a plan for an essay he had just been set- always liking to get his work done early.

However just before he's able to start, there's a gentle ping! from his phone, the Gryffindor reaching for the device and turning it over in his hand to see the familiar name appear on his screen.
