*Erin's POV*

"Hey Erin." Hank walked into my room but I just looked past him.
"You're waiting for anyone?" Hank looked around too, but nobody came behind him.
"Uhm, yeah. Jay. Isn't he with you?" I was beginning to realize what Jay had pulled off.
"No. He isn't and he never was. He sent us away earlier so that you could sleep in peace." Hank realized that something was wrong.
"Oh this idiot." I looked briefly at my hand, clenched my teeth and pulled out the IV port.
"What are you doing?" Hank looked shocked.
"Erin went to get revenge at a guy. Because he..." I didn't want to talk about it now and just got out of bed and got dressed.
"Erin you're not supposed to leave!" Will was in the door.
"Well if it wouldn't be for your brother I didn't need to. No move." I pushed Will out of the way and ran down the hall until I got to the stairs, both men were following me.
"What is going on?" I heard Will calling behind me, but kept running until I saw Hank's car.
"You'd better both come with, if Jay isn't back yet, something must have happened to him." I stood at the driver's door and after rolling his eyes threw me the keys because I knew the way and he didn't.
"Jay left over an hours ago to the apartment where my mother and Matt are." I drove out of the hospital parking garage and then turned on the sirens because the city was full with cars and I didn't want to waste time waiting.
"Who is Matt?" I hadn't had time to talk to Hank yet about what happend and I knew that he wanted to talk to me about why I ran away but there was no time for that.
"Matt is the guy that..." It felt like the words had twisted into a lump too big to leave my mouth.
"It's alright. I know." Will was in the back and I didn't know if I wanted him to know, but I was glad that I didn't have to say it.
"Nice that you both know, I don't. What did he do?" Hank sat next to me and was angry because he hated it when he didn't know what was going on.
"Hank he raped me." I said it without any emotions and made sure not to look at him again.
"Why didn't you say so?" He was still furios but probably now about Matt.
"I just did. There is Jay's PickUp." I parked right behind Jay's GMC and we got out.
"Blood." I had taken a spare gun from Hank because I didn't have mine with me.
A little blood was coming out underneath the door and I opened it.
"Jay!" He was lying in a huge pool of blood, his own blood.
His shirt was red and soaked.
I didn't know if he was still alive.
"Jay." For a brief moment Will was in a state of shock when he saw his brother was on the floor, but then he immediately knelt down and tried to stop the bleeding.
That Jay was still bleeding and showed me that he was still alive, or at least wasn't long dead.
I heard Hank call for an ambulance.
All I could do was stroke Jay's cheek. Over and over again.
"I got a pulse." Will's voice came into my ear, but I didn't care about anything except Jay, right in front of me.
Jay's eyelids fluttered and then he opened his beautiful green eyes for a brief moment.
He focus his gaze on me.
"You have to stay awake for me, babe. Can you do that for me?" Jay's face was snow white, most of his blood was all over the floor, and he just smiled to himself, but kept looking at me.
"Don't worry, Er. It doesn't hurt when you die." His words let the tears I tried to hold back overflow.
"You don't know, you can't know, because you don't die here today, Jay. You can't die." I ran a hand through his hair.
"You can't leave me here." My voice was a whisper because I could hardly breathe because I was sobbing and crying so hard.
"Don't cry my beautiful girl. You're gonna be fine. We'll meet again. I'm gonna wait for you." Jay's hand that had been resting on mine slipped down.
"I love you and always will. Be safe." The last words were only formed by his lips and then he stopped moving.
I looked at Will, hoping he would tell me what we were going to do now, but he looked at the floor.
When I turned around I saw the paramedics come in and take Jay away.
Hank and Will held me tight so I wouldn't run after the ambo.
"Jay!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, then turned away to throw up.
"Jay." My voice was a desperate whimper.
I had lost him, my husband, the father to Alani, lover, soulmate.
Jay was all of that to me and more.
My heart felt like a stalactite cave after the tourist season.
Cold and empty.
"Come back to me." I looked at my hands where I still had blood from him.
When I looked up I saw Hank and Will looking down at me, Will had tears in his eyes because he had just lost his brother.
