Shaking your head in disbelief, your body trembling over this new found information. Never had you ever been so afraid of yourself up until this point. You wanted to see father. You wanted to be home or working at Esta. You wanted to be normal like everybody else was. But you could never be ordinary. You'd never be the same.

JARVIS was everywhere in the tower and could assist anybody with anything anywhere, so it was no surprise when Thor, Tony, and Nat came hurdling through the garage door. Your eyes widened with fear. You were going to be yelled at. You still couldn't shake off those flashbacks. Fear overcame you once again, rushing over to the opposite side of the garage, your feet carried you fast, it felt like you were flying. The wall opened and you ran. Ran into the streets as Tony and Nat chased after you. No. No you needed to get away. Memories flowed through you, remembering his sacrifice, remembering your escape. It felt like you were reliving it. Reliving hell.

"Y/N!" Nat yelled. You faced them. You were in the road now, cars honking and people cursing profanities at you. "No." You whispered, "Not again." Swiftly you rushed into the streets, just barely avoiding the cars and by passers. Nat was bolting after you. Somehow you were still ahead. Dashing into an alleyway, you came to a dead-end. Nat appeared at the opening of the alley. "Y/N? What is going on?" She demanded. She reached out trying to grab you, coming closer now. "No.." You shook your head again, shaking even more violently then before. "Y/N.."

"I said no." You spoke again, covering your face with your hands. Suddenly you were in the air. You could feel your eyes turning green, you looked at your palm. There was a familiar green aura around you now. Looking up to the sky, ascending gently.

"Y/N, whatever it is you need to stop this." Nat spoke softly, backing off. Tony and Thor appeared next to Nat. "Kid!" Tony yelled. Your eyes widened even more now, panic smothered you as if you were drowning. Pushing yourself upwards, you flew out of the alleyway. You flew around skyscrapers, green shrouding you. Father. You wanted father. Father could help! You sifted your hands through the air, showing yourself the way back to your apartment. People below you watched in awe as you flew around buildings and down blocks. Surely you were far enough from the Avengers. Wind lifted your hair as you descended towards the sidewalk.

Citizens held up phones around you, videotaping and probably taking millions of photos. You didn't care, you just wanted to be home. You pushed by the crowds that were being formed. You were aching. Tired and numb from trying to control your abilities. It had gotten the better of you.

"What just happened?" You shook your head as more people stared. Stopping in front of a building, you looked up. The apartment building that you lived at. You entered, everyone's gaze snapped towards you. "Ma'am are you alri-?" Your hand flew out at a worker, terror in her eyes, she flew through the air smashing into a wall, a large mirror crashed down over her. Looking over in horror at the woman, you spun around, straining your eyes to see through the green glow. You just hurt somebody. Was she dead? "No.. this can't be happening." You fearfully asked yourself. Men and woman alike backed away from you, fright filling them.

You were a monster.

Running over to the stairwell door, you pulled it open forcefully. Climbing up the steps, 2 at a time the door slammed shut behind you. You swung another door open. Running fast through the hallways, you managed to knock a few janitors over.

You found your apartment. Banging on the door, tears overflowed from your eyes.

"Yes?" Father said politely opening the door. "Father.." You cried, jumping into his arms.

"Y/N what's happened?" He looked around quickly and pulled you inside. "I ran. I'm a monster." You bellowed "You're not a monster." Father said holding onto you tightly.

"I hurt somebody. I didn't mean to." Your eyes shot up at him, forcing yourself out of his worried embrace. "You hurt somebody?" He repeated, shock filling his words. You nodded. "This." You wiped the tears away violently and held up your hand. Now it was covered completely in green mist. His eyes watched as you moved your hand towards him. "Who am I?"

"Y/N.." His eyes glazed over with tears, his hand on your face.

"What is it?" You questioned. You were calming down a little. Fathers company was soothing. You loved him. "I'm so sorry." He gasped, stepping back.

"Sorry? For what?" Nope, not calm. The rush of emotions overpowered you again.

A bolt of electricity surged through your back, you stiffened as the energy made it's way through your arms and legs. Father looked terrified as he stepped further away from you. Your body was seizing, you were being electrocuted. But nothing was happening, you didn't pass out, your skin didn't peel. "Y/N." Nat's voice came from behind you. Great, this would be an awesome time to pass out. The green fuzz cleared from your eyes gradually. "Natas-"

Bang.

Your body hit the ground hard. "Sorry Y/N" You heard Nat apologize as your eyes closed wiping you out unconscious.

"Is she awake?" An apprehensive voice sounded. Eyes flickering open, a bright light shined into your sensitive pupils. You groaned. "Yep." Somebody answered. Your eyes tried to adjust to the sudden blaze of light. Large heavy restraining cuffs laid securely on your wrists. Finally taking control of your sight, you could see the team standing before you, minus Loki. "Oh hey guys." You greeted them casually. "Y/N. What happened back there?" Tony's voice emerged. "I don't know." You shrugged at them. You really couldn't remember much of what had happened before you fell unconscious at the moment.

"We need more than an "I don't know"." Cap told you firmly. You were sat on the floor, your head ached terribly. Though you could only remember one thing. You hurt somebody. Your powers hurt somebody.

"Why did you run?" Nat questioned, "I was scared I guess."

"Why were you scared kid?" Tony bud in. Their eyes searched yours. You gave no answer. Tony sighed. "Nat will escort you to your room. These restraints stay on." Your eyes shot up to face them directly, before you could argue Tony continued, "We don't want another outburst to occur, therefore we've secured your abilities until we think you're ready." You really wanted to argue but you nodded, agreeing with them. You didn't want to hurt anybody else. Nat grabbed you from the floor and yanked you up. Your body was numb from being electrocuted. A massive headache throbbed in your forehead. Groaning more, you let Nat lead you to the elevator.

The restraints really sucked. Now you knew how Loki felt all the time. The cuffs were always dragging your wrists down when you tried to lift them up. But if you were going to be living like this for awhile, you needed to get used to it. Whether you like it or not.

You were sat on your couch, watching Netflix when a knock came to your door.
