(Bonus chapterrrr!)
Now that everything concerning your past was out in the open you were a lot more comfortable around the team. However, every time you looked out the window somebody thought you were going to try to jump out of it. Which, doesn't sound like a terrible idea, but you refrained from it.
Today was your first day of training with Loki. Hopefully you or Loki wouldn't mess up. The day was long and boring as you waited for the afternoon to arrive. Thor was out doing some god stuff so you had to wait until he came back. Loki kept to himself for the entire time so you did the same.
Things were a bit awkward between the two of you considering Loki had been the one to suggest the idea of Thor getting information out of you. He hadn't said sorry but you couldn't expect him to either. He keeps to himself a lot.
Finally at 1:08 PM Thor arrived back to the tower flying via Mjolnir.
You sat on the couch reading when Thor entered. "I have returned Lady Y/N! Is my brother ready?" He asked, setting Mjolnir on the floor in front of you. "Welcome back Thor. Loki is probably in his room." Suggesting, you got up to face him. "Thank you Lady Y/N! I will gather Loki from his chambers and we can meet in the training room." Thor smiled widely. "Sounds like a plan!" Marching towards the elevator you pressed the button to the training floor.
It only took a few minutes for Thor and Loki to arrive. You'd already been in your fitness clothes the entire day because you didn't want to have to change back and forth. Thor was in a white T-shirt and jeans while Loki was in a grey cotton T-shirt and sweatpants. For an Asgardian god he did look really nice in Earthly clothing.
"I will be watching from the viewing balcony. Play nice brother!" Thor grinned and walked up a staircase. He opened a door and slid inside the enclosed section. Loki muttered something under his breath.
"Show me what you already know." Loki spoke up "I'll try my best." You replied.
Concentrating, you thought back to the tests and lessons from your imprisonment. Picking the simplest trick from your memories you focused. A green aura emitted from the palm of your hand. A solid object appeared in your hands. You'd just summoned a golden knife. The same knife a guard had been equipped with while trying to catch you during your escape.
Loki's eyes lit up for a brief moment but he turned his face blank once again. "Is that all?"
"Well I can try to teleport, but I've never done that while being in control." You said, fiddling your fingers.
Loki simply nodded. Closing your eyes you thought of where you wanted to be: just a few feet in front of you. It was simple enough. Your body shifted, and you opened your eyes quickly. Catching your balance before you fell, you turned around to see that you were on the other side of the room.
"Congratulations. You've just teleported whilst being 'in control'." Loki commented enthusiastically. You gave him a smile and returned by his side. "Was it okay?" You asked anxiously. Hopefully you had enough skills to motivate Loki not to give up on you.
"It was more than satisfactory for somebody who hasn't used their abilities in nearly 10 years." Loki watched you carefully as you shifted under his gaze. "Oh okay! So there's hope for me." You half whispered.
"Now tell me. How did you block me from seeing your lies?" His gaze became harder and more serious. Dropping the smile, your eyebrows furrowed. "I was thinking the same thing. How could you not tell I was lying? You claim to be the god of lies and yet you can't even tell when I speak false words." You teased. Loki's eyes darkened.
"Your mind is blocked off to me. I can't read it." His tone dimmed.
"You can read minds? But your powers are bind-" His hand came up to your mouth to stop you from talking.
