"You think I'm an idiot? You'll kill me the moment I tell you everything." He poured out, his voice tinged with anxiety.
He gulped, shaking his head against the headrest. A whimper left his mouth, his eyes widening when my hand curled around his throat and pressed onto his racing pulse, enough to make him grasp for air.
"You have ten seconds to reconsider, James." I loosened my clutch, his eyes widened and for an instant, his mouth parted slightly before closing back up.
"Times's up feccia."
[Feccia: scum]I swung my fist in the air, feeling my knuckles connect against his jaw, a loud crack echoing through the silence. With one hand curled tightly around his throat, my other one moved back and forth, crunching punches all over his face. Once you got started, there was no going back.
"Give me his fucking name!" I shouted, my eyes falling onto his struggling body.
I gripped the top part of his hair and pulled him back up, his body starting to go loose under my hold. I grabbed his head, bringing it forward and banged his nose with my knee. Another hard crack matched the earlier one, this time indicating that his nose had been fractured. His eyes were swollen and were barely opened, the thick blood flowing down his cheek. Bloodied spit drooled from his slack jaws, a sight that I had grown to watch without feeling the slightest disgust.
"This is bigger than you could even imagine." He croaked, his cracked lips failing at every word.
His words roused the anger inside of me. Holding his head, I banged it once again, this time with my head and hit him twice with my right fist, square in the broken nose. He let his head sag lower and lower, the blood dripping off his face and onto the ground.
"Hai un desiderio di morte." I landed another roundhouse blow directly on top of his shattered jaw.
[You have a death wish]His chair flipped over, flinging him across the floor. The chair was shattered from the force thrown upon, sending spewing wood shards strewn over the floor. I walked over to him, pulling him back to feet. He hadn't even one ounce of strength in his body, his legs stumbling beneath him, struggling to keep his body upright.
"He's coming for you." He whispered faintly, forcing himself to look at me.
"He won't stop, not until he kills you." He shook his head slowly, his breathing coming out shakily.
I shoved his body away from and onto the ground. He didn't deserve to live after what he did to my men. Sliding my hand back, I pulled my rifle up and unlocked the safety lock, watching his body crawled towards the wall. He rested his head back against the wall, a look of horror playing on his face. From the gun in my hand to my face and back, his eyes drifted.
"You can't shoot me. You will never know anything about him if I die."
A smirk crept along the edges of my lips at his confident words. I brought the gun up to his eye level, aiming it in between his eyes- right in the middle of his forehead.
"Hades don't." Riven's anxious voice came from behind.
"You were right, I was never gonna let you go." I said, pressing onto the trigger.
The blaring gunshot echoed off the walls, followed by a deadly silence that I'd came across a few times, mostly after a shot. A perfect bullet landed in between his eyes, his body limp on the ground with the thick crimson liquid exuding from the hole.
"What the hell, Hades? You took out our only lead." Riven shoved my shoulders back, shaking his head in dismissal.
I wiped the edge of my gun with the ends of my suit, feeling his stare on my forehead. I tucked the gun back into the waistline of my pants before looking up to meet his pissed glare.
