Monday.. 1 week before summer..

-Serena's POV-

So much has happened the past few days. I woke up nice and early, ready for my phone and to go to school.

As soon as I got dressed I ran to my dads and catalinas room and started knocking aggressively. "Hellooooo rise and shine it's Monday!!" I kept knocking.

"SERENA! SHUST UP!" Anthony yells scratching his head half asleep as he walks out of him room. "Can you like not not?" I laughed. "Why are you so happy all of a sudden?" He asks confused. "I get my phone back!!" I smiled.

"Oh oh ya that's great, I'm going back to sleep, see u later reenie", Anthony walked back into his room and I kept knocking. "Here take it just take it" my dad said passing my phone to me and shutting the door in my face. "AND GET TO SCHOOL!" He yelled through the door.

I walked outside of the house walking to school and I had a thousands of notifications. I checked my messages not expecting anything but then I saw Benny had texted me. The smile once on my face now faded. I didn't know weather to answer it or not.

Who am I kidding, I'll answer him..

Benny: serena

Me: Benny

My heart actually sunk, and it was in my stomach now. Why did I just do that? I can't do this to myself I need to move on.

I was walking staring at the texts rethinking my life choice and all I hear is "Serena" I look up and it's Charlie. I don't know what got into me but I pulled him into kiss him.

He kissed me back. I pulled away and stared into his eyes and he did the same. "Uhhhh" i stood there. Charlie smiled big at me. I said nothing but continued to walk as he followed. "So uhm I'm sorry if I made you like uncomfortable they last time I was with you" he said with a certain tone. "We don't have to talk about it" I cleared my throat.

"Oh okay, but whyd you kiss me right now?" He asked. "I don't know I felt like it", he just shook his head. "Well let's hurry up to school were probs gonna be late" Charlie said speed walking.

"You have baseball practice today?" Charlie asked. "Yep, last period, Howd yk?" I smiled. "I figured, and because you have your baseball stuff sticking out, is it heavy?", he asked. "Just a little", "Here lemme help you" he grabbed my bat and carried it all the way to school.

We got to school and met up with the boys and said our goodbyes until we saw each other again, then we went to class.

-Bennys POV-
I was running around school trying to ignore Isa, we are currently on none speaking terms. I've walked past Alex a couple times. He just game me dirty looks.

I finally pulled out my phone to see that Serena texted me back. A smiled appeared on my face.

Me: oh my god, how have you been??

I texted back and checked my phone every 2 seconds..

Serena: I've had better days, hbu?

I couldn't stop smiling, but something just felt very off, I just felt like this gut feeling and I don't know how to describe it but there was something wrong..

Me: I've been good, hows the boys? I miss them

Serena: their good, we haven't really been in touch as much anymore tho

Me: oh really? Im sorry ab that, what ab Charlie? Are y'all a thing?

Serena: it's complicated ig, how's u and Isa?

Once she asked me that I knew what was the gut feeling, she shouldn't be taking to me like this, she shouldn't be asking me how another girl is doing...

Me: were kinda arguing now a days so that's great

Serena: sucks

Me: Ya, but um yk i hope u know you can still talk to me whenever

Serena: oh thanks, well I have to go, bye :)

Me: bye serena :)

I put my phone back in my pocket, I didn't know if I wanted to cry or what. But I just wanna hold her, even if it's just for a second and tell her how sorry I am.

I walked to my locker to put stuff in it. But then I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around and saw Isa. "I'm sorry baby" she said cupping my face. "It's okay" I slightly smiled hugging her, putting my chin on top of her head. All this just felt so wrong..

-Serena's POV-

The day was almost over, it went by smoothly..

It was now time for baseball practice. I took my baseball bag and walked into the locker room. I took off my shirt and and got out my stuff to change..

"Serena you forgot your-" "CHARLIE! AGAIN?! REALLY?!" I said turning myself back on him so he couldn't look at my chest. "You forgot your bat, sorry" he said, I grabbed my shirt and put it on to turn back around.

"Oh thanks" i laughed. "I better go now" he smiled and ran off. I shook my head and continued to get ready..

I got my bat and glove and headed down the the field. "Martinez! We missed you" the boys all started patting me on the back and I walked to home base smiling...

Practice went by fast..

After a long and exhausted day it was finally time for bed.

I plopped myself on my bed and stared at the ceiling. My phone buzzed..

Charlie: goodnight cutie ;)

Serena: Goodnight Charlie

Deep down inside I wish that was someone else..

But my phone buzzed again, Benny..

Benny: Goodnight sweet dreams

Serena: Goodnight Benny, you too

My heart sunk again, I can't describe this feeling.. I closed
My eyes and fell asleep.
