127 hours ~ Levi Ackerman x reader

You continued working away at the rock through out the night, only getting about an hours sleep at max, your hand was stiff and in agony from chiseling but you had bigger problems to deal with. Dawn was beginning to break over the horizon, giving you a sense of relief, no longer were you in the frightening, cold darkness but there's only so much relief you can have when you're stuck in a shitty situation like this.

you took a break and stretched out your arm, hissing from the cramps. you glanced up at the blue sky above you and saw a raven fly by. "hey" you called out in a raspy voice, with a small bitter smile on your face, once it had flew out of sight you sighed, you then looked at everything around you, particularly the narrow path that lead you here.

as if on cue the sun began to light up the passageway, not enough to for you to bask in it entirely but enough so that your foot and hand could reach. your eyes brimmed with water at the sight. you took your sock and shoe off on your left foot and relished in the light, then you spread your hand against the sun lit rock

*flash back*

the room began to glow with sun light as the curtains swayed softly in the morning breeze, you opened your eyes, Levi laid right next to you, still asleep, you softly brushed his hair away from his face and admired how peaceful he looked, only you would see him in such ways like this, only showing his soft side to you. you felt your heart swell with love for him. You then traced your thumb down his cheek, smiling.

He slowly opened his eyes and they met yours instantly, he gave you a half smile in return, running his own hands through your hair, he then pulled you into his chest, kissing the top of your head, his arms wrapped around you making you feel completely safe, like noting could ever hurt you when you were in his embrace.

"I love you" you mumbled into his chest, snuggling closer into him. "I love you too but shhhh, go back to sleep" he said in his husky morning voice which you loved. there was no where else you'd rather be right now.

*flash back ends*

as your memory came to an end so did the sunlight. Having nothing else to do you opened up your camcorder and for a moment you just looked at yourself on the video reflection, your hair was disheveled and you had bags under your eyes, your expression held emptiness and sadness. you then cleared your throat "It's 3:05, Sunday, April 27th, this marks 24 hours I've been in here, I was making my way through blue john canyon, at least I think this is blue john canyon, I'm not sure." you ran your hand over your face with a sigh before continuing. "My name is (y/n) (l/n), I'm apart of the scouts. I am in squad Levi and Levi is also my lover so if you find this you can keep the camcorder, just please try give him these tapes, I'd appreciate it... uhh I was descending my way down here yesterday when this rock fell, it came loose and rolled onto my arm" you said as you picked up your camera, filming your arm and hand "now it's stuck and uhh it's got this almost gray blue looking color"

you set your camera down on the boulder again and continued filming "it's been left without circulation for 24 hours so it's pretty much gone" you took a deep breath, your expression now dull. "I'm low on food" you picked up your water bottle and heled it up, checking how much you had. "that's about 300, no wait, maybe 400ml of water left and that's it" you took a long pause looking directly into the camera until you felt some dust and rock fall down above you, maybe someone was up there.

"hello, please! there's someone down here! please help" you cried, yelling "help!" over and over until your throat was raw and your lungs ached all the while the camcorder was still going. your cries echoed throughout the walls and off into the distance but there was no response.

Tears sprung to your eyes as you watched up above, praying that someone heard, you began to cry, tears rolling down your soft cheeks "please Levi I need your help" you whimpered, your bottom lip trembling. Then you noticed the camera had been recording you the whole time so you turned it off and rewinded it back to when you were crying desperately for help, you watched it with misery, you could only watch your own suffering so long before you had to turn it off, then you began to sob.

*Levi's POV*

10:30am

"she still hasn't returned and if you aren't going to take action then I will" I said, full of anger. "calm down Levi, we're going to gather up the scouts and send them off to search in groups, can you think of any places she might go?" Irwin asked, stepping out from behind his desk. "not that I can think of, she wouldn't stay out over night, she hates being outside in the dark by herself" I replied.

"well I agree that she wouldn't just get up and leave without telling anyone, I know her too" Hanji intersected, crossing her arms across her chest. "well we'll go out in odm gear as well so we can cover more ground" I said, walking towards the door. Hanji nodded in agreement and followed out after me.

"she seemed perfectly fine, what do you think happened?" Hanji asked as we both walked down the hallway. "she wasn't fine, I said some things to her which I really do regret" I said solemnly.

"oh I see" Hanji said, furrowing her brows slightly. "I need to find her, I need to make things right" I sighed.

"we'll find her Levi, I promise" Hanji replied, placing a hand on my shoulder.
