You were restless, no matter what you just couldn't sleep, your mind and the pain kept you awake, you checked your watch and it was 05:36.

"how about tomorrow, today's my day off so I'm gonna go get some fresh air" you said giving her a small smile. "oh, where are you going?" Hanji asked, returning to her work. "I don't know yet" you replied, walking towards the door "have a good one" Hanji called giving you a wave. "always do" you called back, shutting the door behind you.

"always do" you mumbled quietly

You didn't know how or when but you did eventually drift of to sleep.

you were suddenly awoken to a tickling sensation on your chin, you realized an ant had crawled up onto your face, you didn't really react though, you lazily swatted it off.

You Looked up at the sky feeling weak and dehydrated. You mentally retraced your steps all the way back to the river where you had left your horse and thought about the water, licking your dry lips, it was the worst feeling in the world, well when you're that thirsty, it is.

You picked up your water bottle without even thinking and took a drink, you quickly realized and closed it. after a moment of thinking more about your thirst you grabbed your camcorder and turned it on, sitting it on the boulder.

You looked at your reflection but had to turn it around, you looked awful, you were pale, your eyes were all sunken in and your lips were dry and cracked. "its freaking me out looking at myself" you said as you turned it. "that's better, uhh.." you paused for a brief moment "its been two and a half days now, its been a bummer. Uhh what I could really use with right now is about twenty meters of static wrap rope, a sling and eight burley men to do all the hauling" you smiled though your eyes heled no emotion.

"I have about 150ml of water left which will... keep me alive till tomorrow night, maybe longer, if I'm lucky which will disappoint all my little insect friends, they'll just have to wait"

you took a deep breath and continued "I uh hate to admit this but I pissed my pants.. twice, I don't know, my body's acting really weird" you took a long pause and looked all around you "Lets see what else can I tell you, there's this raven that comes each morning, I clocked it at 08:17, it'll probably drop by tomorrow again"

"at 09:30 I get 15 minutes of sunlight. I've been chipping away but I think that my hand is what's  supporting the rock so when I chip away a little bit it actually settles more.. so I tried using it for something else"

*two hours earlier*

You wrapped the rope tightly around your arm, cutting off the blood circulation then slowly pulled out the swiss knife, you tried cutting away at the skin but it was so blunt that it didn't even break the surface, it grazed your skin at best.
