127 hours ~ Levi Ackerman x reader

You fell back, eyes wide with disbelief, you stared back and forth at the boulder then your arm, you were absolutely stunned. you slowly looked down at your severed arm, using your other hand to hold it.

Slowly you began to stand up, using the walls for support, leaving blood prints. you leaned against the wall with your one hand pressed against the opposite, you stared up at the sky.

After a few minutes your survival instincts kicked in, grabbing your backpack you put the camcorder, water bottle and only one rope inside. you kept the other, wrapping your arm inside your t-shirt you then wrapped it around your arm and neck, creating a sling, you wrapped the rope until it covered your entire arm.

once you were ready you started to stumble through the pathway, running your fingers and hand along the wall

Levi's POV

we combed through the forest but found nothing, this was insane, you had to be somewhere around here, my heart was aching, this would be our last day of searching, despite the new hints Irwin couldn't keep this up for much longer. the feeling you felt was something you've felt too many times, the emptiness and despair from loosing everyone close to you one after another, your face was devoid of any emotion

"okay listen up everyone, we're gonna spread out and search in groups of three" Irwin yelled, coming to a stop "yes sir!" the cadet's yelled heading off in different directions, leaving myself, Hanji and Irwin behind.

"let's start the search" Irwin said, placing his hand on my shoulder. I nodded

(y/n)'s POV

you continued making your way back out the way you came, you fell and slid a few times but pulled yourself back up. you grunted and seethed as your injured arm bumped into the narrow pathway walls. suddenly you fell down a 10m drop, landing straight on your ass but you picked yourself back up again crying in pain as you did so and continued

blood still smeared on the walls as you wobbled and bumped into them.

but then sunlight came into view. you walked out the exit and it was so bright you couldn't see a thing, it took you a few moments for your eyes to adjust. You cried out and laughed, running your one hand through your hair.

after your moment of joy you made sure your arm and sling were secure then set of for the lake. taking in the landscape around you while listening to the birds twitter all you could really think about was Levi don't worry I'm coming back

as you reached the lake you stood above the shallow side and sunk to your knees, falling in face first and lay there for at least 10 seconds then you sat up on your knees and pulled your water bottle out, you drank bottle after bottle while poring some of it all over you.

after feeling satisficed you stood up, filling your bottle once more you placed it in your backpack and set off but you realized your horse was gone "shit.." you groaned, hauling your bag over your shoulder.

walking under the suns rays felt amazing but it was exhausting in such a weak state, you regularly fell down but got back up again, it cant end now. you were so close. furrowing your brows you decided to break out into a light jog. panting heavily.

taking a stop to catch your breath you noticed the place you had stopped at felt familiar, you were going the right way. you didn't stand there for long though as you continued on your way. you were full of tiredness but exhilaration at the same time.

you saw the shadow of a bird bellow you and looked up to see the raven and you smiled. up ahead there was a turn and that too felt familiar, as you turned the corner you saw three small figures out in the distance, stumbling weakly you began to scream and yell for help, your cries sounded silenty to you but the three figures had heard because they turned my way and ran towards me.

"HELP!  PLEASE HELP ME!" you screamed waving your hand in the air. you took a pause for air "I NEED HELP!" you watched them stand away stopping for a brief moment until continuing, running full speed towards you but you couldn't quite make out who it was yet.

as they neared you saw that it was Armin, Sasha and Connie. you tried to talk but everything to you sounded distorted, like you were under water so your words came out as gibberish. the only clear words you could say were "I-I cut my h-h-hand off" but it echoed inside your head

all three of them stood in front of me with horrified expirations. "(y/n) what happened!" Sasha exclaimed looking at my blood stained face, chest and arms. "please- some water, please" you asked weakly.

Armin instantly grabbed his water bottle and passed it over to you, opening it you guzzled it down letting some of it flow over your face. "Sasha, Connie, go get the higher ups. right now." Armin ordered .

Armin walked towards you and stood by your non injured arm and put it around the back of his neck so he could help you walk. "(y/n) do you want to sit down and rest for a moment?" Armin said, his voice full of concern

"no, I have to keep going" you said firmly, shaking your head. Armin sighed and heled onto you making sure you didn't fall

Levi's POV

I stood there on the tree branch, full of frustration and anger "calm down Levi, it's okay" Hanji said. "no! it's not okay shittygl-"

"We've found her sir!" Sasha yelled coming to a stop on a branch, panting heavily. My eyes widened and I almost chocked on my own saliva. "what?! where!" I yelled as I sprung of in the direction Sasha had came from, she wasn't far on my tail but I let her pass and lead the way.

(y/n)'s POV

as you continued to walk you saw something that took your breath away, well, someone.

feeling relief like you've never felt before you collapsed to the ground, you saw Armin above you trying to help you up but everything was silent again, his lips were moving but you heard nothing, blood loss was beginning to take over.

but your eyes snapped open when you saw piercing blue ones staring back at you, tears streamed down your cheeks as you continued to stare at him with love and security, finally feeling safe, he yelled and shook you but everything was beginning to turn black.

Levi's POV

you lay there on the ground looking like you were on the brink of death, your arm was wrapped in a makeshift sling which had blood profusely leaking from it. I crashed my knees into the dirt as I placed my hand on your cheek, your eyes were drooping shut so I gave you a shake, causing your eyes to snap open. "(y/n) oh my god, what happened to you" My voice cracked and tears brimmed my eyes, you looked up at me with a weak smile. "Stay awake! stay with me (y/n)"

but you eventually fell unconscious. I wrapped my arms around you and brought you into my chest, resting my chin on top of your head, tears were now running down my own eyes
