The Way You've Changed Me ~ [TodoMomo Story]

"So a secret?" Yaoyorozu said in a hushed tone. When Jirou said that she has something important to tell her, she didn't think that it was something that she had already knew.

Kaminari nodded. "Keep this a secret. If the other classmates find out then they're going to think that it wrong and shit." He said.

Momo furrowed her eyebrows. "I don't think they're going to act like that." She commented.

"Whatever. We just need you to keep it a secret, at least for now." Jirou said.

Yaoyorozu let out an exasperated sigh. She knew that they were going to get find out eventually, but she would at least let them have their time. "Fine. I guess I can keep it a secret." She sighed, turning her head away from them.

Kaminari and Jirou silently high fives and smiled. "Thank you so much Momo. And to help you..." They exchanged glances while smiling. The brunette waited impatiently as they turning back to her. "We're going to set you up with Todoroki."

"Huh? I don't need you to do that. We're just friends." Yaoyorozu assured, waving her hands in front of her chest as to enforce it.

The blonde sighed. "It's so obvious you guys like each other. We saw you on the couch yesterday!" He pointed out, pointing at her chest. "We're not stupid."

"He's right. He's the only one that's stupid."

"Hey!"

"Not now, Kaminari. Come on. Let us set you up or ateats help admit that he likes you." Jirou pleaded, clasping her hands together and holding them out in front of her chest.

Momo shook her head. She was fairly certain that Todoroki was a friend, even though she wanted more than that. "Sorry. We're just friends." A buzz went off in her pocket.

Kaminari looked at her skeptically. "Oh. I have to run. Todoroki needs help with his assignment. I'll be in his room."

The couple narrowed their eyes at her as she put away her phone again. "What?" Yaoyorozu asked with a perplexed look on her face. "Is something wrong?"

"You're going up to his room."

"Uh huh."

"Alone."

"Yeah."

"To work on homework."

"Mhm."

"On a Saturday?"

"Yeah, I guess."

"Don't you hear how sus that sounds?" Kaminari interluded, putting his hands palms up to the ceiling and putting them out in front of him. Momo shook her head. "Alone. In his room. Studying."

Yaoyorozu shrugged her shoulders. There seemed to be nothing wrong with that. She had studied multiples times with him alone in the his room for homework. Sometimes the study sessions were even in her room. She didn't see why they had a problem with this now.

"It's fine. We do this almost every other day. Anyways. I'll see you guys later." Momo walked away from them with her mind still spinning a bit, not fully comprehending what they were saying. What's wrong with spending time with someone alo- oh. I get it.

Is that really what they thought she had come to? A bit pathetic. Her relationship with Todoroki was only a friendship. That's what she wanted to believe anyways.

"Todoroki? Can I come in?" Yaoyorozu asked behind the door, her knuckles rapping at the wood.

Todoroki hopped up from his bed and opened the door for her, moving to the side and holding the door open. "Sure." He simply said before closing the door behind her.

The brunette sat down near his bed where a little table sat, a cup of tea resting on the table. "Are you feeling better today?" She asked cautiously, not really knowing if this would bring up any feelings.

Shoto sat down next to her, crossing his legs. "Actually, that's what I wanted to talk to you about." He admitted, looking at her. "I finished my homework yesterday."

"Oh. What'd you want to talk about, Todoroki?" Momo asked, shifting her weight towards him.

Todoroki felt his breathing hitch as he started to talk. "Uh... my mother, she's in a mental hospital, as you know. And... I just wanted to know if it's the right time to see her now. I'm just afraid that my presence might send her back into bad mental health." He blurted out, closing his eyes sand his head to the ground.

Yaoyorozu smiled. It was a very rare sight that you got to see Todoroki expressing emotions, but when she saw him expressing them she knew that he immediately trusted her with those feelings. That made her really happy to know that he trusted her enough to let her see this side of him.

"Todoroki, Trust me. From what I've heard, your father is most likely the cause for this. Her mental state is because of your fathers abuse." The brunette assured, placing a hand on his shoulder and gently rubbing her thumb in circles.

"I don't know if I should go and visit her."

"You should. Maybe it'll do you some good. To see her doing better and know that she recovering."

"Maybe."

"Think about it, Todoroki. I think that she misses you."

"How do you know?"

"Just a hunch."

Yaoyorozu wrapped the whole length of her arms around him and hugged him tight. Just to let him know that she was there for him and that he could trust her.

On the other hand, Todoroki didn't really know what she was doing. Where am I supposed to put my hands? What does this mean? I am very confused.

"I'm here for you, Todoroki. We're friends. I'm always going to be here for you." She softly whispered in his ear, pulling him closer.

Friends. That word again. It just... bugs me so much. "Yeah. I know." Todoroki said, relaxing his hands and placing them on her back. "Thank you for helping me."

"Shut up, Kaminari! I can't hear what they're saying!" Jirou whispered yelled to her boyfriend.

Kaminari gritted his teeth. "Well I'm sorry I don't have a sound Quirk!" He said through his teeth, pressing his ear up against the door again.

Jirou listened closely to the conversation. "It went quiet. I think they might be hugging. Or kissing. Or whatever Todoroki does." She said, retracting her earplugs.

The blonde walked away from the door. "Okay. Now we have to find out how to get them together." Kaminari said, putting a finger under his chin.

Jirou felt a wide grin spread across her face unconsciously. "I might have an idea."
