The Way You've Changed Me ~ [TodoMomo Story]

Momo had already felt guilty enough when Todoroki had to leave due to, well, "family matters". And her stress seemed to skyrocket once Aizawa told her to meet her after class. 

What? Was it her grades? Even though she was practically doing so well that they had to make a new grade to show her excellence in her classes? 

Mina had practically gave her 'the eyes'--raised eyebrows with a suspicious yet smug smirk on her face, that seemed to say, "You're in trouble~"--when he told her. Ochako's brow furrowed when he called her name, because she never got in trouble, and glanced over at her. Tsu did the same thing almost in sync, mouthing to her, "whats that about?"

She knew that all of them were worried, that all of them were going to be gossiping after class. Fortunately and yet unfortunately, she wouldn't be able to hear their annoying comments because she had a meeting with Aizawa. 

The class had seemed to go by fast. 

The lecture that he had given had gone by in a flash, and surprisingly, she had two pages full of notes full of sloppy writing but didn't remember ever writing anything down, or paying attention, for that matter. 

Momo glimpsed at her paper and picked it up, immediately noticing that this wasn't written in her handwriting. She glances over at Ochako's seat, who was giving her a thumbs up and a bright smile. Ochako slung her backpack over her shoulder, shouting at Mina as she left the classroom. 

She smiled softly before she folded the papers into halves, stuffing it in her folder. Momo had forgotten about the meeting with Aizawa until her foot was outside the door, and a gruff voice said, "Are you trying to skip out on our meeting?"

Her body immediately froze as soon as she heard the familiar voice. It surely belonged to Aizawa, and he surely was standing behind his desk with a tired yet agitated look on his face. 

Momo shut her eyes and bit down on the inside of her cheek, stiffly turning on her heel and forcing herself to walk towards the desk she oh-so didn't want to approach. 

Right now, he could scold her about anything. 

Maybe because she was talking to Tokoyami in the middle of class, letting him borrow a pencil. 

Maybe because she accidentally set off the smoke detector early in the morning because she wasn't focused on the kettle.

Maybe because she wasn't paying attention in class just now. 

Momo swallowed down all the thoughts and stopped in front of his desk, keeping her eyes set on her shoes, scuffing them against each other. She lifted her head and looked at him.

His face didn't show any kind of expression. It didn't seem like he was mad at her or even a bit concerned in the slightest. 

"I'm going to get straight to the point," he said, standing up behind his desk and glaring at her. "You and Todoroki are in a relationship, correct?"

Oh... that's what this is about. 

Momo nodded wordlessly and let out a breath for what seemed like the first breath in an hour. There were worries about the relationship for the other of them, about their classwork. But they had both promised each other that they wouldn't let it get in the way of their schoolwork.

And it hasn't been. They had been focusing on their work during class, getting fantastic grades on tests, regularly working on their Quirks--with each other, so they could squeeze in time for each other--so she didn't really get why he was calling her out about this. 

And how did he even find out, anyways?

"I understand that you have been dating for... 3 months now." Aizawa took a breath before speaking again. "Listen. I don't want this relationship to interfere with you guys going full out during practices. You might be paired up and want to go soft on each other because you guys are dating. If that's the case, you may be in danger of failing."

Momo sighed in relief, and replied, "I understand." 

Is that really all he wanted to talk about?

She turned away and started to walk away, before he spoke again, this time saying, "By the way... be careful." Momo's brow furrowed in confusion as she walked away. 

Be... careful?
