Chapter 17 - 6th Sense

"They're like big light shows!"

- "Ah I see." He nodded, taking in the information. "Do you have a book on this?"

"I might. Tony mentioned there's a library in the tower somewhere. I haven't found it yet though." You shrugged, rubbing your chin.

Loki perked up and put down his controller. "A library?"

"Yea.." You nodded quietly

"Huh. Good to know." He smiled. Loki's gears were turning in his head.

"Anyways- Tony is going to have a huge party with fireworks." You continued.

"I'm not going." Scoffed Loki.

- "Why?"

"I'm not much for the party scene."

"Oh." Y/n whispered. "You ever been drunk?"

"Pardon?" Loki looked up at you suddenly, taken aback by the question.

"Have you ever been drunk before?" You repeated.

"Yeah, I few times. It's hard for Asgardians to get drunk though." He frowned.

You got up, steering away from the topic. "Its late. The team came back awhile ago." You mentioned looking at a clock.

Thunder cracked down outside. Loki shot his gaze towards the window. It started to rain. "You don't like thunderstorms?"

"I don't."

- "You can stay here tonight if you want. I get pretty lonely in here." You smiled.

"May I?" He looked back at you, putting away the controllers. "Of course. I need to take a shower though, is that okay?"

"Fine by me." Loki smiled. You loved seeing him happy, everytime his face glowed up some strange feeling happened to your heart.

You noticed you were staring. "I'm going to go now. I'll be out soon." You told Loki and rushed to the bathroom you heard him reply as you got your shower ready.

~ Loki's POV ~

My head shot up from my book as Y/n came out of her closet.

"Do you want to take a shower?" She asked, her blue eyes shining in the darkness.

I nodded quickly.

"Go get some clothes, I'll turn on the water." Said Y/n with a kind smile.

"Make sure it's cold." I told her strictly.

I can't bathe in hot water, it hurts too much. My body suffers under hot temperatures since I'm a frost giant.

My nose scrunches, cringing at that thought.

How would I ever tell Y/n?

"You okay?" Y/n stared at me with worried eyes.

"Yes. Sorry, I was just thinking." I replied trying not to draw anymore attention. I got up, opened the door and went into the hallway.

Perhaps I could persaude Stark to release me from these clunky restraints. Although Y/n now lived with them as well. I hope she's doing alright..

I came into my room and found a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt. I snatched them and rushed back into Y/n's room.

"Your shower is ready!" She notified me, still with a bright gorgeous smile.

Gods, I love that expression on her. She's so beautiful when she smiles.
