"how was your day sweetie?" you talk to your pet as you scratch his ear. he jumped up on the couch with you and you smiled. he was your true love, no one else atleast from your experence. everyone you where with wasnt good to you, either it didnt work out or they hurt you. it was something you knew you had to deal with, but you used food instead. it only helped a little, but to you that was enough.
a small tear fell from your cheek as you got up to get a sandwich. "im ok baby," you picked up your dog as he gave you a kiss on your nose. you picked up your sandwich and sat on the couch and you just decided to think, the tv as background noise. i mean you where living your life like a hedgehog, awake when its dark and aslep when its bright. maybe you where always looking on the negative side, but was that really true i mean you look forward to food after all?
your dog curled up at your feet as you began to try to go to sleep. hopefully tomorrow will be better, and the good food to come. you fell asleep dreaming of frosted cookies and icecream.
The sound of the alarm hit your ears, you woke up like you always did, you fed your dog like you always did, went out the door like you always did, greeted your cowerkers like you always did, fishined work like you always did. you looked at your shoes again and felt like crying, it was diffrent. and then you felt a warm hand almost like the way your mother would confort you as a kid.
you looked up to see the same kind eyes you saw yesterday, you actully cried then as he smiled. it was a new felling to you like somone cared," you ok?' he smiled at you as you hugged him tight. "its ok im here now," he hugged you back as you cried more.
"hey i love ya you know that?" he said to you but deep down you felt the same, but you just couldn't say that you did. maybe it was from past hurt. "im sorry.." you treiled off but he quickly said "its ok i understand," it made you sadder but it was ok.
you opened the door to your appartment, got some ice cream but gave it to your dog instead. maybe it was ok to feel this way you smiled.
