It was a day like any other, your parents where at work the day seemed almost bare. It's been almost a schedule you would make as a kindergartener this summer, blank with nothing on it. You had no plans, that's ok more time to focus on school work. When you try hard you get to a good place in the future you would think looking around your old stone house. Ever since you where 12 you always saved every penny you earned to get into a good collage. Being busy always kept him off your mind yet you couldn't ever find a way to, so you decided to leave after your 18 go to collage study hard and work even harder. Now tho thinking about your boring day you decided taking a small walk down memorie lane wouldn't be as bad as it was portrayed to be.

"We should go to the zoo tomorrow." You looked at jack, he was a really nice guy came to town about a week ago, your friendship bloomed sense then. "Sounds funn" he smiled at you. You always had plans together. Everyone didn't matter when you where with him, he was Somone you looked up to Somone who made you feel safe and happy. You haven't had that for much in a while, being in and out rehab your parents aren't too impressed either. Jack and you walked around the mall two blocks from your house on that same road you walk every day for school. It felt perfect yoy where stuck to that kid like flies stuck in honey.  Even his smile made you warm and fuzzy. You always thought everyone knows how that feels with there bf/gf or even a crush. But you just never felt this way, sure you dated around but it's odd that no one made you feel like so. This is a summer to remeber you thought to yourself . "Let's go back to your place there is fireworks tonight in honor of the 4th" you looked at the white haired boy. "Ohh yeah sorry I'm not into patriotic things, but fireworks sound ok." "Yeah me either but it's something"" you where Soo happy, just to be busy now you wherent alone with yourself. The two of you walked home some shopping bags in hand. The night felt cool, it was absolutely perfect, yet not as perfect as the guy next to you. You looked up at the sky, it was amazing yet you realized that if jack didn't move here you wouldn't have seen it. "Thanks jack, a lot it's hard to kinda say how I feel but I'm Soo happy to be here with you I finally feel happy to be alive" yoh almost cried feeling the common sting in your nose. He knew you really well. He just smiled and nodded looking back up at the sky. The next week you loved that guy like he was god himself, you went swimming, spent late nights walking to the lighthouse to watch salmon jump, looked at the windows of stores you never went in before, smiled at everyone who walked by. Everything. You lit a cigarette. The nights started to get a bit cooler, the days shorter as the summer started to fade away. You remeber the day, jack asked you to the party before school started again. Of course you went. Being in his presanse made you feel like there was no feeling bigger out there. The party was loud, but fun. Jack made everything fun even if it was just watching the waves of the lake go by. You took off your heels, holding them in your hands so your feet can have a break. The light shown the salmon fish swimming around in the water trying to reproduce before they died. You looked up into the same sky, making a wish on the first star you saw. Jack walked back with you, no talking was needed it was perfect anyway. You tried to light a cigarette but jack took your lighter. The cold air caressed your cheek as jack grabbed your hand. You blushed feeling the cold air suddenly become warmer. This was a summer to remeber but not only that, you wanted to remeber jack, the fish, that party, shopping, the fireworks, the stars, the way you felt. Maybe it wasn't doing stuff that made the summer better it was jack and not only him but the feelings between you. You where nothing special and you used to always think so greatly of yourself, why now does that have to change. A cars horn suddenly interrupted your thought. Jack pushed you out of the way. He went under the car his organs now out of place. He was dead. You felt what seemed to be the end of your world that day. That boy was gone the one who cared, the one who made your summer grate, the one who gave you those feelings it was all over now.

You never forgot any of that it was a summer to remeber and he was a guy to remeber but even more those where feelings to remeber down in your heart until the end. You quit smoking, alcohol ect. It was your way to pay him back for all of that. You cried a little bit as you said goodbye again, this time for good.
