When & Where | SOOGYU

A lot of mutters and laughs suffocating the cafeteria. But somehow Beomgyu could block everyone's voice from his hearing.

Too busy in his own thought, the boy didn't notice a couple are sitting in front of him. The couple stare at him with concern written on their face, probably worry because they've known that Beomgyu is a talkative person but now he's so quiet.

"Hey."

No response.

"Hello?"

No response again.

"Hey, kid!"

Beomgyu snapped back to reality, finally noticing two girls are sitting in front of him.

"Oh, it was just you Ryujin, and..." Beomgyu squints his eyes as he tries to recognize the girl sitting next to Ryujin.

"Yeji. Hwang Yeji." Yeji introduces herself with a small smile. Beomgyu replies with another smile but then he sighs after.

"Are you okay?" Ryujin pops a question, examining the boy with a sullen face that is sitting soundly in front of her.

Beomgyu groans, he rubs his eyes with both of his hands and yawns, "I'm just sleepy."

"Are you sure you're just sleepy? You seem lonely." Yeji jokes, she then steals a sip from Ryujin's strawberry milk.

"Of course I'm lonely. Did you see my friends sitting here?" Beomgyu sighs and his eyes wander around the cafeteria.

He has been sitting alone and his friends were nowhere to be found. Jeongin got his lunch in the library because he's watching over the library during lunch break. Meanwhile, Yeonjun is finishing a senior project with his classmates. Taehyun is absent because he got a fever. And now, Beomgyu is lonely, except there are two girls that aren't in his friends circle suspiciously sitting in front of him.

"Oh yeah, Yeonjun got a project, right? Poor boy, his teammates are very lazy and unsupportive. He's probably doing the project alone right now." Yeji laughs maliciously, which earns a smack from Ryujin as she quickly mutters 'I was joking's.

Yeji added, "I hope he can finish the project before the day after tomorrow. I am so grateful to get Soobin as my teammate."

"Grateful for what?" Beomgyu tilts his head, finding the topic is a little interesting.

"How can I not be grateful? He's a great leader! Our project finished a week before the deadline." Yeji smiles proudly.

"Soobin? A great leader?" Beomgyu scoffs, he added, "I'm better than him."

"That is too bold for a person who stuttered while doing a presentation." Ryujin smirks, she snickers when Beomgyu's face slowly turns into a frown.

"That was last year! I'm a brave big man now." He raises his head proudly, "Oh, and how did you still remember that? Are you a stalker?" Beomgyu added, squinting his eyes on the girl in front of him.

"God, you're so stupid and oblivious." She shakes her head and sighs. Yeji steals a few glances at Ryujin.

"My girl over here," Yeji suddenly wraps her arm around Ryujin's shoulder, "Used to had a crush on you."

The statement caught Beomgyu off guard and widen his eyes. Ryujin sighs again and shakes her head.

"I was hurt when you said you didn't know me when I gave you a chocolate on last year's Valentine's Day." Ryujin fakes a sulk, but then she cackles.

"But thankfully, Yeji saw me crying in the restroom and we became close. Now, she's my girlfriend." Ryujin wraps both her arms around Yeji's waist and hugs the girl tightly, giggling when she noticed her face is dusted in red.
