It went like that for a week.

Beomgyu and Soobin went to the same cafe after school, Soobin just watched Beomgyu eats, sometimes he eats with the latter too, and in the end, they didn't study anything at all. It's like a time loop and Soobin is starting to get annoyed with it. Beomgyu just always finds a way to avoid Soobin from bringing up anything about school or studying.

Other than the tutoring stuff, Soobin has been staying up late a lot lately. For what? To practice playing the piano of course. Sometimes he would skip eating just so he won't pause his practice session. Soobin's mother gets concerned about his health day by day but Soobin manages to reassure her by saying that he'll eat and get some rest later at school.

Which is a lie, Soobin still overworked himself in school. The fact that the annual school spring festival is getting closer does not help either. Soobin must plan everything about it from the activities, attractions, anticipations, budgets and picking a special activity that is always different every year.

Back with his life at home, it's getting a bit hard to put it in words but Soobin thinks it's been a little weird. His father hasn't examined his piano skills yet, not even once ever since he returned from his business trip. But his father still acts normal, cold and harsh, like he used to.

The thing that made Soobin think it's weirder is the fact that his father knew he's been staying up late to practice all night. But he didn't say anything.

On the good side, Beomgyu and he started seeing each other more for the week. Or what Beomgyu prefers to say; "The annoying magnetic attraction that made us bumped into each other everywhere." while hissing at Soobin.

Their random encounters started on Tuesday morning.

Beomgyu was waiting outside of a senior classroom. Arms crossed, eyebrows furrowed, cheeks puffed, lips pursed in a thin line, looking weirdly annoyed for a very beautiful morning as to what Soobin described the day was.

The reason Beomgyu was standing there alone was to wait for Jeongin who he knew would always pass by the classroom just to take a peek of Hwang Hyunjin every morning. He didn't feel like waiting for the fox-eyed male in their classroom because he was somehow desperate to meet Jeongin now.

Jeongin didn't reply to his texts last night and did not even go online for a second. It got Beomgyu worried and suspicious. Plus, he also got to tease Jeongin when he suddenly got caught stalking his crush.

He thought it was a good plan - secretly being worried about your best friend by hiding it with some joking teases because he was embarrassed to admit that he was worried.

But what Beomgyu didn't know was Soobin's classroom was literally across the classroom he was standing outside at.

When Soobin coincidentally went out of his classroom, he immediately saw Beomgyu. And he instantly thought what's wrong with teasing the already annoyed smaller male, right?

And so, Soobin walked his way to Beomgyu. He smirked and his first greet to the male was; "Wow, were you waiting for me, Princess?"

The hallway was quite full that time but not crowded. And oh, the way all the students immediately turned their attention to the two was faster than what Soobin thought.

Gasps were heard here and there but the only thing that Soobin can concentrate on was how Beomgyu's lips were immediately parted and his eyes widened following with a sudden blush erupted on Beomgyu's cheeks.

Only because of the damn embarrassing yet somehow fluttering nickname.

"That's very nice of you." Soobin giggled, a genuine giggle because he couldn't help but find it funny how Beomgyu couldn't mutter a single thing by how shocked and confused he was. He found it funny and adorable.
