Zachariel looked like a prince on the bridge. I caught people staring at him. I could see that Zachariel was content. I couldn't wait to hold him in my arms. Everything got ruined when one of my relatives referred to Madeline as my wife. I thought that Zachariel hadn't heard it, but I was wrong. Zachariel's whole demeanor changed when Dominique made a stupid remark. I could see that he was upset. I scolded Dominique, then asked Caterina to keep the kids occupied. I followed Zachariel to the bar to set things straight. I halted my steps when I saw a man talking to Zachariel. I decided to observe the man before approaching Zachariel. I sighed in relief when I heard Zachariel say, "I'll see you on Monday at the office, Henrik."

Zachariel smiled when he noticed me. He grabbed two bottles of soda, then walked up to me. I pulled Zachariel closer, then kissed him deeply. Zachariel chuckled, then asked me, "What the hell are you doing, Alexei? Everyone is looking at us." I hugged Zachariel tightly, then responded to him with, "I'm trying to cheer you up, Zachariel. Don't mind that woman's words. She will soon realize who owns my heart. I already reprimanded Dominique for his remark. He will never act like a brat again. My father made everyone sign a non-disclosure agreement before coming here. So no one will dare to spread rumors about us. We will officially announce to the world that we are getting married after the launch of your company. I don't want people to bombard you with questions while you are busy with work." Zachariel kissed me softly, then uttered, "Thank you for knowing me so well, Alexei." Zachariel quickly pulled away from me when he heard Genevieve yell, "Look at the shoes that grandma Caterina gave me, papa!" Aren't they pretty?"

Zachariel handed me the beverages, then picked up Genevieve. He placed a kiss on Genevieve's cheek, then said, "Nothing can compare to your beauty, baby girl." Genevieve squealed while hugging Zachariel. Vittoria then yelled, "Come get your basket, Genevieve. It's time to scatter flower petals down the aisle!" Genevieve wiggled out of Zachariel's arms, then ran towards Vittoria. Zachariel threw his arm around me, then gazed at Genevieve and Vittoria. The boys joined Genevieve, Vittoria, and Nathaniel. I quickly finished my drink when I heard Zachariel say, "It's time for you to take your position, Alexei." I handed the empty soda bottle to Zachariel, then said to him, "I'll see you in a minute, babe."

I joined Chance at the altar. Genevieve en Vittoria made sure that the whole aisle got covered in flower petals. Genevieve started playing with the flower petals after finishing her job. Zachariel picked her up, then took a seat. Dominique looked curiously at all the guests. People were waving at him, and he eagerly waved back. Jacques was clinging to Zachariel. I could see that he was sleepy. I kept an eye on my family during the ceremony. I would have loved to be by their side, but I had a duty to fulfill. We walked to the reception venue when the ceremony was over. I had to deliver a speech, so I stayed by Chance's side. I grabbed the microphone and congratulated the happy couple when It was my turn to talk. Chance and Briac smiled when they heard me say, "Take good care of your dads, Nathaniel."

I walked to our table after everyone had finished delivering their speech. I took a seat next to Zachariel, then helped the kids eat. The children squealed when the band started playing. "Can we go dance now, daddy?" asked Dominique while looking at his uncles. Chance and Briac were enjoying themselves on the dance floor. Everyone had enjoyed their first dance as a married couple. I nodded, then replied to Dominique with, "You can have as much fun as you want with your siblings, Dominique, but make sure to stay close to us." The kids ran towards the dance floor while yelling, "Yay!" Ocean and Madeline followed the kids.

I grabbed Zachariel's hand after everyone had left. Zachariel smiled at me, then uttered, "My shoulder is all yours, Alexei. You can sleep if you want. No one is looking." I laughed, then stated, "I was about to say the same thing to you, Zachariel. You look exhausted." Zachariel caressed my cheek, then stated, "Tell me about the surprise, Alexei." I kissed Zachariel softly, then said to him, "I have asked Charlotte to get the beach house ready for us, Zachariel. We will be going there after the party is over. We can stay there till Monday morning if you want." Zachariel hugged me, then said, "Well, that's a nice surprise, Alexei. The fresh air will surely help me clear my mind."
