Dabi returned, as we figured.

For some reason, he's been taking it easy on Keigo. Not that I'm complaining.

Still, part of me wants to think our New Year's kiss meant something more.

The Vangaurd Action Squad went on a mission for All For One. Since I wasn't needed, Kurugiri and I remained at the hideout.

Keigo hasn't been around much over the past few days.

Part of me understands he would want some space from the League but at the same time, I want to make sure he's doing okay.

Player 1: Hey, how are you?
Haven't heard from you.

Everything okay?

Hello?

I know you're checking your phone. I have read receipts.

Are you mad at me?

I'm sorry.

I miss you.

I just want to make sure you're okay.

Are you okay?

Little one?

Pretty Bird: im fine    im sick

Player 1: No emojis? What's going on? Kurugiri can make you some soup. I can bring over some movies.

Pretty Bird: no      not that kind of sick

Player 1: Let me help you.

Please.

Little one?

I'm worried about you.

Pretty Bird: im fine

Player 1: I'm having Kurugiri warp me to your apartment. Let me in, okay? I'm gonna take care of you.

Pretty Bird: fine

I knock on the door softly. I have my artist gloves on so I can't decay anything accidentally.

I hear flapping noises from inside.

For a pro hero known for speed, he's not the best at answering the door. Especially when Kurugiri put so much shit in this damn basket.

The door finally opens and my eyes widen.

I rush in, dropping the basket on the ground carelessly. "What's going on? You look like death!" I press the back of my hand to his red forehead, to which he sassily slaps my hand away. "You're burning up. Do you have a fever?"

Keigo groans dramatically, rubbing his temples. "Chill out with the twenty questions, okay?"

His wings are more puffy and fluffed out than usual.

"Then tell me what's going on," I demand. I cup his face in my hands, my pinkys up by nature. "I'm worried about you, Keigo. Please just-"

"I'm in heat," he squeals, clenching his fists at his sides.

I blink, still holding his face. "Y-You...Y-You're...what?"

Keigo huffs, pushing my hands away. "I told you I'm fine. It's normal, happens every first week of spring."

I soften a bit, calming down my nerves. "How can I help?"

He half chuckles. "Fuck me," he says sarcastically.

"Okay."

"WHAT?"
