Keigo breathes heavily, clenching the blankets of his nest in his fists.

"Deep breaths, alright? We can do this," Kurugiri promises, patting Keigo's forehead with a damp towel.

Dabi and I pace around anxiously, occasionally bumping into each other and ignoring it.

"This is bad," I mumble, biting my finger nails.

"So bad," Dabi continues, pulling out loose strands of hair. "He's early. Fuck! Why is he going into labor early?!"

"Maybe it's from the stress," I snap at him. "You proposing to him in the middle of fucking Target!"

"How is this my fault," Dabi growls, gritting his teeth. "Oh, I'm sorry. I wanted to make things right with the person who's carrying MY child."

"You're so full of sh-"

"Both of you, SHUT UP," Keigo cries out.

Kurugiri shakes his head. "If you two can't keep it down, you're not staying. Understood?"

Dabi and I glare at each other but keep our mouths shut.

"Good," Kurugiri mumbles to himself. He rubs Keigo's stomach, his other hand under the blanket that covers his legs. "You're doing great, sweetie. I'm glad you read the books I gave you. If you didn't prep yourself over the past few days, this could have been even more painful."

Dabi blinks, his face blank for a moment. "What do you mean prep? We haven't slept together in months..."

I gulp, backing away from Dabi silently. "Heh. How about that."

I can feel his eyes burning me but I focus my attention on my lover.

With only a few painful screams and a face full of tears, Kurugiri holds a white egg the size of a small watermelon.

My eyes widen, his hands automatically reaching for it but Dabi places his arm over my chest. I look at him dumbfounded for a moment before releasing I wasn't wearing my gloves.

While I'm placing them on, Dabi meets Kurugiri at the table as he works on cracking the egg.

I go over to Keigo, who's whimpering in pain.

"It's okay," I whisper, kissing his sweaty forehead. "It's baby time! You did it, little one. I'm so proud of you."

Keigo let's out a shaky breath before sitting up slightly. I place my hand on his back to help him up, both of us completely still at the new sight.

Dabi approaches us with a soft smile as he holds the red winged baby wrapped in a blanket. The child is silent, almost like a doll in his arms, but still, something was off.

Keigo and I look at each other for a moment, both staring the same thought.

"I don't take back anything I said," Dabi says in quiet, calm voice. "I do love you, Kei. I just wish I showed it when I had the chance."

He carefully places the baby into Keigo's arms, pressing his lips to the blonde's forehead for a brief second.

Keigo gently pushes the blanket from the baby's head, his breath hiking up a bit to reveal the baby's black hair.

The baby whimpers slightly, opening his bright red eyes for the first time.

My mouth is agape, my eyes wide. "It...He's mine."
